Any franchise usually gets good looking statues first because theyre cheaper and easier to make before the engineering and collector market is there for more convincing action figures to come.

The cape looks really good, but the proportions are fucked. His gorilla arms are way too long, his elbow should align with the bottom of his ribcage (it's at his waist) and his wrists should align with the base of his crotch (they are at mid-thigh). Feet are tiny, he obviously skipped leg day with those puny calves, and his head looks way oversized.

I really wanted this to be The One, but looks like it won't be for me.

Neat to add his horse with it. Shame (but not at all surprising) that it isn't articulated, though. Same issue as with the SAS Jojo part 7 figures: static additions don't do a whole lot for me.
But it'll be a nice bonus and I don't think the price is all that insane.

I do know that his face kind of changed a bit. It's not that which bothers me, but that it looks extremely.. what do I call it... McFarlane-y? It looks like the painted skin you'd see on a McFarlane figure from these pictures, which always looks off and cheap to me.
