When you submit idea to Ideas, there is a bold text that say if your suggested licence wins, Lego can continue the line without paying you. So they tested the water with Ideas set, it sold well, so they decided to make a continuation.

I heard that it was just something under review for 2024, not 2023. Though, my conspiracy theory is that LEGO Zelda is gonna be reworked to be geared around TotK. That leaked set may still happen, but TLG, Nintendo, or both are gonna wanna make the theme ride the oncoming TotK popularity wave. I wanna be wrong, but I feel Nintendo would want to invest a lot into TotK shilling especially for the rest of 2023 and 2024. So I am reserving my excitement for that theme.

Aside from the obvious main nintendo IPs, I think Pikmin would be fun one. Just give me a bunch of nanofigure-scale Pikmin with a Microfigure-scale Olimar, and you could easily incorporate them into other larger-scale builds given the nature of Pikmin.

Once Max had discovered LEGO Chima, it quickly became a favorite pastime. He loved the intricate sets and the imaginative world of animal warriors. But it wasn't until he started spending time with his dog that Max began to realize something about himself.

As he played with his furry friend, Max found himself slipping into the role of another dog, imagining what it would be like to run and play with his four-legged companion. This led Max to the realization that he was a furry, someone who was interested in and enjoyed anthropomorphic animal characters and concepts.

While it was initially a little scary for Max to come to terms with his identity, he found that the world of LEGO Chima actually helped him feel more comfortable and confident in who he was. The characters in the sets were all anthropomorphic animals, which meant that Max felt like he was part of their world, too.

As Max continued to explore his love of LEGO Chima and the furry community, he eventually decided to attend a local furry convention. He spent weeks designing and creating a costume inspired by his favorite character, Laval the lion prince.

When the day of the convention arrived, Max was a little nervous but also excited. As soon as he stepped into the convention center, he felt like he was home. Everywhere he looked, there were people dressed up in elaborate furry costumes, all there to celebrate their shared love of anthropomorphic animals.

As Max walked around the convention center in his Laval costume, he felt a sense of belonging that he had never felt before. He made new friends and had a great time exploring all the different furry-themed activities and events. And when it was time to go home, Max felt proud of who he was and excited to continue exploring his love of furries and anthropomorphic animals.

I used to watch that ugly Abraham Lincoln impersonator, and liked to watch his city videos, but after progress grinded to a halt, I moved onto Robin Hood Bricks and Bricksy. I also sometimes watch Brickcrafts, but his building style triggers me, if you're building Lego to be as realistic as possible, just buy model trains instead.

Basically he told my parents about the lego before I had a chance to. This was like right after his wife gave birth and he told my parents that he wanted the lego for when she grows up as a toy so they gave them to him. I went over to my parents a few days later and asked about the LEGO and they told me he took them. I told them that I had wanted them and even told him about them like a week before, but they didn’t believe me. They even acknowledged that they were mine, but said that I hadn’t shown interest in them in years. I told them that they were worth money and they said that he wasn’t planning on selling them but instead giving them to his girl. I like the price and scale that makes them an easy impulse buy, fast to assemble and not taking up much space to display but despite the designers doing their best the proportions are often just too off and the detail that is so important is missing. Also I really hate stickers. If the model is using stickers for the headlights it's especially bad.

Agreed on the headlights. I generally don't buy a set if they don't have actual pieces for lights.
As far as proportions and details are concerned, if I wanted a perfect representation I'd get a die-cast model. For $20 a set they are good enough in terms of creating a lego version of a real car.

Anons can minifigure printing come off from heat? I had an order from a bricklink seller come with bleeding prints on one and the seller insists it wasn't like that when he handled it before shipping. If he's telling the truth then I can only assume it occurred during shipping. Has anyone had something like this happen though? I'm just getting back into the hobby so I'm not super informed on these kinds of occurrences if they are common.

Seller also could just be lying to save face though, he did also sell me a minifig with a scratched face listed as new that he swears was like that out of package, so kind of doubt his integrity since he overlooked that.

The store terms state:

Oh no, he's not even claiming it happened in shipping, that was my innitial assumption, he's insisted that his shipping is great because they use cardboard boxes at all (something about seeing bubble mailers also get run over by trucks). I gave him the benefit of the doubt though and presumed the damage was due to external factors, but it is just seeming like he straight up lied because he knows he made a mistake. You know what my gripe with that answer is? That yellow minifigs are supposed (again, "supposed") to be caucasian. The literal yellow "skin" was meant to work just like in the Simpsons.
Which means that, if you want to make a minifig with darker skin, you just do it.

if I recall right, when Lego did basketball sets based on real players, the NBA or whatever teams they licensed with or whatever agreed to have Lego basketball sets of the players only if Lego would make them flesh colored, Lego agreed and then went on to do all licensed stuff that way, but I don't know how the Cloud City set with nig Lando plays into this, if this basketball thing is even true.

I'm doing Adventurers for Ideas, right now, I'm trying to modernize Johnny. After glueing him together i have notices few things:
>lines are to thin, need to be thicker
>to much detail on his undershirt
>to much detail on his undershirt
>unnecessary shading on the revolver
>pants folds should be in dark tan instead of reddish brown
Next I will do Sam Sinister. Doing 400 part piece, one vehicle and terrain build with traps and treasure.

The dreamzzz theme will be a huge flop, a vidiyo 2.0 disaster. Too gimmicky, too woke, too all over the place and confusing box art.

Yeah it sucks, have to use parts they continue making thou. Adventurers and Orient Expedition were my fav childhood themes, going to include 1x2 dynamite tile in my build.

But anon is right, think about the theme's art style itself. Look at those characters, are those ment for boys or girls? For me it looks like gender neutral shit which wont sell well. Boys play with toys for boys, and girls with toys for girls. This is how majority of the market looks like, if you think otherwise, you live in a bubble.
