MF has been horrible with more realistic faces. Griffith was fine since he's basically a bishoujo, but Guts's face and cloak were so ick. If the figuarts keeps the quality at least 90% like the promos then Guts for sure is a major mog.

The last chapter established him at his lowest, completely unable to touch him.
Story-telling tropes dictate that he will need to break into the next power-bracket soon in order to redeem his weakness and failure. He's going to be charging into all of the strongest opponents in the entire setting soon to save damsel Casca again.

Yeah it's tropey, but Berserk isn't exactly above that.

It'd be suiting, they basically all attack during an Eclipse. I can't think that any of the allies save maybe Schierke would even mentally survive seeing what's going on in there, and her just because she's had glimpses of things through Guts. There's just no way to win that fight. And if Zodd and the Apostles are problems for even Berserker Guts, no one else is really touching even them, much less the God Hand. So basically all the enemies are way too strong. For anyone who's following the series still, new chapter in 3 days.

I've only used nin nin but I've had nothing but good experiences, I've heard some people have had issues with them taking forever to ship in stock items but the one time I did order in stock items they shipped them out quick and they've been good about shipping out pre orders quickly. Nin nin has email alerts you can set up that half the time get sent too late but the other half actually do alert you when a figure can be ordered again. Just be wary that nin nin has a history of increasing the prices on figures when they come back in stock usually closer to release so while guts and Griffith are cheaper than ordering on ami ami at the moment that could change the next time they're available for pre order.

They are legit. Ryota who works their customer support is very good. They get a bad rap because a lot of their staff including Ryota came from Nippon Yasan, but they weren't responsible for running that business and genuinely feel bad for how the customers were ultimately treated.

You're not pre ordering directly from the manufacturer when you got to these stores, they get an allotment and that's what you're pre ordering and what runs out. P bandai would be an example of what you're talking about where you pre order directly from bandai and they say there's a limit to how many pre orders they'll take but most of the time it runs out of time instead of out of pre orders.

Ebay has some okayish capes for Guts. Some specially made.
Personally, I think the SHF Guts cape looks the best so far, but I'm not sure if it's poseable. It does look the most like the actual source material, though.
The third-party/homemade ones are just generic black capes with some cuts and tears.

I order most things from BBTS because I'm lazy and don't mind paying an extra $10 for convenience of not duking it out against bots for preorders or having to buy it on ebay for $50 more later on I just place my order then forget it, then it shows up months later. I'm not checking on it counting the days. My Trunks BFTF isn't showing up till June and that's alright.

If it was that low I'd use them and wait it out too but for just guts and Griffith you're looking at an extra 50-60 dollars depending on where you pre ordered on the jap sites. And that's before the 4 dollar shipping and taxes, honestly the no taxes thing is another reason I always go import, I'm in NY so sales tax is around 8% meaning on guts and Griffith I'd be paying an extra 20 or so bucks on top of the extra I'm already paying.

Maybe. They usually drip feed stock throughout the day but you'd have to be there on the minute for it. If you don't see it open after 24 hours you can give up.
