I only really like the eerie 50s Gumby. The rest of the series feels like something you'll find in the VHS collection of a homeschooled kid. I was hoping they were going to do something refreshing with the reboot, but I guess not.

The toys were always meh since they couldn't really hold poses well.

havent seen or even rewatched Gumby since it aired on Nickelodeon decades ago, but I remember it being pretty edgy. Not just Gumby dying on the moon, but a lot of mild war scenes.
