Welcome to the Playmobil General!!!
Previous thread:
>>10104031 >Archive: https://archive.palanq.win/toy/search/subject/Playmobil%20General/ >What is Playmobil Stylized toys focusing on simple playability with lots of accesories. Range from History to fantasy, sci-fi and girly themes. Figures have 6poa.
>Where to buy If you live in Europe, everywhere. If you live in the US, a number of online stores carry them.
The official
playmobil.com online store is always worth checking and it should redirect you to your country's local branch (i.e.
playmobil.us etcetera). In addition to the regular retail items they have other sets and a spare piece service.
>What scale are they They are 7.5cm/3” tall. The scale of their accesories can be roughly 1/18 but it varies from 1/24 to 1/12 depending on which part of the body they are meant to interact with.
>Are they expensive A figure with a full personal accesory set including the likes of a bike or a full set of tools typically costs around 4-5 euro/burger/bong/leafbucks. There are much bigger sets, and there are tons of sets to spend your money on, though.
>Are they released simultaneously worldwide Playmobil has traditionally been released first in Central-Northern Europe, over a year earlier than the rest of the world, but it appears this model is being changed, especially with the release of licensed sets and media-backed themes.

Lego 42118 Grave Digger can fit figures inside by moving just a few pieces. The cab ends up angled and their feet stick out the bottom a tiny bit, but for such a simple fix I'm happy with how this turned out.

I got the Knight Rider set for very cheap, from Amazon France, for 21€ + 8€ shipping. Not sure if it was the real price they intended. I read there were very good deal for Prime Days a while back, but this was even better and it was available for everyone. I freaked out when the system displayed a warning that I had to provide an identity number and it would give no way to provide it, and I feared that they would cancel the purchase, but eventually it forgot about it (I mean, I live in the EU and the system was talking about customs or some shit, I have no idea why it started talking about it in the first place). I'd have given a heads up here otherwise. It's cool set, but definitely not worth the official 80€ tag, It's also got a couple QC issues that are annoying. One of the headlights is loose and can't stay raised for shit. Also the light and sound feature is activated by pressing the hood, but there's no button and instead you have to press an unclear place with an unclear strength to activate it (to make things worse it activates on release, so you can't really get a feel of exactly when you manage to hit it). Well, it's nice and it's great for that price. I've got to put it together with A-Team van some day.
