Whats the best of sorting legos and then rebuilding old sets? I dont have many sets that are completely dismantled but all of them are missing at least 3-5 pieces and some even more. I think my collection is in pretty good shape the only issue is that its super fucking tedious having to find singular individual pieces. I spend 30 minutes looking for one piece and then I give up. Ive separated my loose lego pieces into colours, and the more special ones by shape/size, but I feel like its not enough and I should get even more specific. I wish I had those massive plastic cabinets so I could sort pieces like that but I dont want to drop another 200+ dollars on organizational shit.
Unfortunately, my loose pieces are not composed of pieces from sets that I bought. I also got some loose pieces from bulk lots that are do not match whatsoever. Ive actually found pieces from the fucking 80s in my collection.
Id say I have around 150 different lego sets. I know 112 by name/look. I'd say that I only really care about 80 or so (city and the boardgames idc about).
Any anons have the same dillema?
