All of them and already thinking about buying multiples of certain ones. Especially the village one so I could have a large Smurf like village. I almost wanna buy 2 of every set so I can have 1 in each configuration at any point, but we’ll see. I guess you would need 3 of each set at that point though so you could have one in normal configuration and the two extra ones. Anyone else planning on buying multiples?

So quick update, I contacted LEGO and they said they could accept a return either by me shipping it back or by going to a lego store. They said I would have to pay the shipping cost so we decided to go to the nearest store. The trip wasn’t too bad, the kids were focused on the iPads and not too much traffic. When we finally get there they take the set back and issue the money. However, the Dreamzzz sets weren’t there. I thought they came out on May 1st? My wife was thoroughly disappointed. The employee was nice and gave us one of the Death Star II GWPs for free and I got a few things of PAB and the current exclusive parts from the build a minifig. It was overall not a bad trip, but I guess we’ll have to get the Dreamzzz sets another time. Part of me is worried she’ll lose interest by the time they come out though, she only wanted the Rivendell set since she’s a huge LOTR movie fan, but the colors and wacky designs of Dreamzzz really appealed to her.

I think it's just that the sets are well done. And the entire point of this theme is basically throwing things at the wall until something sticks, so maybe a set or 2 will stick to people who don't like it.

Pretty happy with the binnacle and cabin. Might redo the deck, as I originally conceived of the ship as a merchant brig and didn't change this until late in the build. Considered changing the grey sides to white, but at this point it seems like alot fo work and the colors seem to work as is.

I noticed on an Ashnflash video(yeah yeah, probably a tranny) about the latest revealed City sets. In several sets, the Arctic Explorer and the Family House. There are power cells like in the electric sports car that came out not too long ago. I had hoped for something like that actually. The idea of this repeating part becoming an integrated part of the city. I guess in part because I thought it could almost be like a game item. You explore the city and find those power cells to in order to power vehicles and other machines.

Hey again bros, last thread I said I was going to scale down the Samurai X mech when I posted my revisions to the Crystal King. Well I got the set and instead focused on slimming it down a good bit. Thoughts?

It mostly uses parts from the set with some added joints and pieces here and there. Real satsufied with how the head and shoulders turned out especially, downscaling the head turned out really well and the arms are on universal joints now with the shoulders connected. If anyone's interested I'll post pics of the build broken down.

They're actually completely fine. LEGO stickers are plastic, so as long as they're not peeling or terribly applied, they're quite water proof. I've never had a sticker fail in the wash, and I have a sample size of at least a hundred parts by now.

I had this bad boy as a kid and it was actually really good. Pieces were your standard mega blok spec for the 2000s. I didn't have any problems with the ramp pieces being too thin, but I also wasn't a hamhanded kid. I at least appreciate that these designs had max playability in mind with no bullshit. If lego had their shit together, skateparks could be one of the many sub-genres of City to become a whole series in itself, even if it's only once or twice a year and still inside the City brand.
