This smaller dragon that attaches to the bounty probably sold me on this one, I really wasn't interested but that's a good small dragon build and it's cool it incorporates into the set to give it the standard dragon head. Also cute that the little dragon minifig is in its place when not attached here, lol. Is the brick-built dragon supposed to be this one grown up, maybe?

Colors remind me more of Monkie Kid with the azure added, but I'm not complaining.

So quick update, I contacted LEGO and they said they could accept a return either by me shipping it back or by going to a lego store. They said I would have to pay the shipping cost so we decided to go to the nearest store. The trip wasn’t too bad, the kids were focused on the iPads and not too much traffic. When we finally get there they take the set back and issue the money. However, the Dreamzzz sets weren’t there. I thought they came out on May 1st? My wife was thoroughly disappointed. The employee was nice and gave us one of the Death Star II GWPs for free and I got a few things of PAB and the current exclusive parts from the build a minifig. It was overall not a bad trip, but I guess we’ll have to get the Dreamzzz sets another time. Part of me is worried she’ll lose interest by the time they come out though, she only wanted the Rivendell set since she’s a huge LOTR movie fan, but the colors and wacky designs of Dreamzzz really appealed to her.

There are tons of these, unless you mean of a fairly large size. Though those knees... if they just made that as 2 pieces with a heavy ratchet it would accomplish what they want of a sturdy base but also allow movement there. Could always just double or triple tow ball.

This is one of my favorite sets ever. The helicopter is insanely cool, big enough and with enough cool shit on the inside to be a full mobile base for the heroes. The dinos were awesome to play with too, even if not very Lego like.

Damn, that's some solid piece use, and a good way to stretch the life of Dots-specific molds. It's also getting use in the HP banners, and I'm sure it'll show up in future Art sets alongside the larger technic hanger. Utilizing them creatively is a pretty good way to distribute super niche pieces without forcing people to buy an otherwise uninteresting pixelshit set. That whole idea seems to be why Dots got discontinued in the first place - just put the Dots shit in regular sets since the idea wasn't strong enough to carry itself in a vacuum.

As an adult I simply don't have time to watch some mediocre half assed cartoon for a toy line. The product that Lego is selling are the bricks and sets, not the cartoon tie in. As someone who hasn't seen any of the cartoons besides the Lego Movie I just have zero attachment to these dog shit themes. After a quick wash I put them in jars for future trading or give them away to kids who don’t really care about what brand they have. They’re also good for the times I need to glue a lego piece. I apply the glue and attach to fake pieces so it drys somewhat in spec. In case the glue drips out it’s better to have it leak on a fake piece.
