I bought a pack once because I liked the Deadlings series (which is kind of similar being blind box rubber minifigures). The minifigures for this series are kind of neat. It has the sand messy gimmick that kids like to mess around with. The eggs themselves break apart which is pretty neat too. It encourages you to make a mess and get cool minifigures out of it.
Personally, I thought it was a huge waste and way too messy for me to ever deal with again. The minifigures are neat, but I'd rather just get the minifigure Jurassic World toys instead.
And kids probably want Spawn too, but most kids would rather get the giant bundle in OP than one figure.

These are actually pretty fun to play with. The figures are decent too if you liked Trash Pack and similar, but the eggs come with a base to help you rebuild them, and throwing them at a wall to smash them repeatedly is pretty satisfying.
