Eagerly awaiting it but it's frustrating that Sachiel figures have never even tried to actually use the right colors, and now everything is based on 1.0 which made certain things worse and ironically is closer to how merch looks

Get the updated SoC Spec one. It's well built, (for the most part, the diecast armor is a bit heavy though) comes with a fuck ton of accessories/optional parts, and the other two units are equally as good if you want to get a full set. They also made the berserk form from episode 19, which is cool but probably would've worked better as accessories for the main release since so much of that is already swapable.

Unit 00 has my favourite color scheme and look, especially the head. Unit 02 is my least fave eva however, never liked the head design.

Eva-Frame is the most affordable, I think they are just shy of 5 inches tall. If you don't mind spending the money there is the Robot Spirits or Mafex (I don't recommend Mafex the 01 I got was a mess)

If you are counting the old hg then you aas well may consider the rather new kotobukiya kits for the three evas, they have very cool proportions and they bothered to make them a full new sculpt instead of reusing the new film kits

I'm still kicking myself I never got the cute bishoujo angels when GAINAX was first releasing them. Also I'm a little upset at my own clumsiness. I let my Soul of Chogokin Unit 00 Blue fall. Sadly the toe bend broke off and I'd hate to glue it back. She will sit in my collection as a permanent cripple like a cross country runner got hit in the Achilles tendon.

Only realistic options if you want high quality show accuracy is either the SOC SPEC or the kotobukiya model kits. From my perspective the SOC SPEC seem to follow the model sheets specifically.
