>>10437128>Nice moving of the goalposts, contrarian. They still needed to mold as many pieces (if not more) as their 1:12 equivalentsAnd it doesn't look as good. Hence, 1:12 being better on an individual basis in most cases; 1:18's strengths being the ability to have large amounts of figures displayed in a scene in a small space.
>30 PoA is bare bonesFirst off, PoA is less important than range of motion. You can get a single joint to have almost the same range of motion as a double joint with clever positioning and the bend looks better (see Figma).
Secondly, yeah, it is. It used to be impressive, but that was a long time ago. In the age of stuff like modern Figuarts, Revoltech AYs etc, articulation has come so far that MLs are borderline archaic. Also they still use shit like straight cut swivels for waists which should have been retired years ago.
>Nevermind the fact that 1:18 figures can be as articulated as 1:12 figures at half the price despite only being a quarter smaller.A 1:18 figure being as articulated as a budget 1:12 figure is not that impressive. Microman stuff is impressive for its articulation for the size and price for sure...but they often look very janky and were often notoriously fragile.
I haven't seen any 1:18 figures that come close to, say, SHSS articulation.
>still trying to shill his uncle's chinese store on aliexpressSorry you refuse to buy from anything other than Fat Fred's Figgers, Subby.
>and ignores Joytoy's own prices in the western marketWhich are all over-inflated by importers/middlemen, and which nobody with any sense pays.
>while lying about joytoy's long history of shit QCI'm talking about the 40K stuff though. I know the older JoyToy stuff sucked, it wasn't until the 40K line they pulled their fingers out (a bit like McFarlane). Hell, Jazwares used to be complete dogshit-tier before the Halo line, which proceeded to mog every other Halo line ever.
>shouldn't you be out kidnapping dogs?Racism IS against the board rules...
