I'm so excited for Beyblade X.

I was excited for Burst but ultimately I was disappointed because plastic-on-plastic battles suck sine they barely spin and the parts wore out was too easily so I dropped it. Plus the anime and manga were a big departure from Bakuten Shoot and Metal Fight.

But this changes things. I love how they're returning to metal wheels, I love that they're keeping the burst gimmick, and I LOVE the new stadiums. Beyblade has needed these stadiums for a long time; this changes everything.

And I'm excited for the anime and manga. They have some big names attached to this.

And I love how they're going all in on the "gear sports" thing. It's ridiculous but I will absolutely compete. I live in Japan so there's nothing stopping me if they want to make this an actual sport. I love it!

And most of all, I have my own son this time. He will be 5 this year and we have been playing together with some of my old Metal Fight Beyblade's (but we don't have a proper stadium so we just use a beigoma bucket) and he loves it. I can't wait to play the new series together with him. I pre-ordered BX-01 through BX-06, stadium, grip and battle pass so July 15 is going to be awesome for us. I just need to find another grip and battle pass for my son but they keep selling out quickly. I love how it's already so popular several months before release.

This is awesome.
