>>10457758Hasbro did put out some great deluxe sets, but as
>>10457865 said they haven't done much with it in way too long. The shame is they probably made the best overall figures, and were really pumping them out for a bit. Joules is probably one of the best female figures I've handled from a Western company in years.
Jazzwares figures were good, and they came with tons of gear, but their articulation always felt stiff and their articulated fingers were just awful. But they just churned these guys out, making tons of different figures and characters. Though their 4" stuff is way better to mess with. Cheap and solid and just lots of fun to collect. I do miss the building plate system from the start of the line though, I was building up a nice stockpile of them. They make for great backdrops and displays, and it was such a nice simple, cheap accessory to pack in with every figure.
McFarlane was easily the worse of the three 6" lines, but they were still pretty great figures in their own right. Tons of joints but limited range of motion so they couldn't really move that well. Also they always came with the least amount of gear. But the paint and detail on em was always great and the figures always looked good, especially the more imposing characters.
It's honestly kind of amazing that all three companies were able to each put out such fantastic figures from this brand. Maybe it's just because the designs are so fun and translate well to action figures or something. I've never really
played the game, and I don't really care to. But I've built a fairly sizeable collection of Fortnite figures just because the toys all came out so good.
