It used to be easy to tell when physical stores were pretty uniform in clearancing shit out, but that's handled by their computer/ai now and places like Amazon have ai algorithms that puts unseen stock on sale that may or may not be successful or not, because there's no way for even employees to gauge without a deep dive into inventory/sales data.
So only way to really tell if something is doing well or not is if stores stop stocking it, or the toy company stops producing it.
BTW, a bunch of Lightyear stuff went on deep deep clearance prices on Amazon for like $5 the other day. You can't find prices like that even at Ross shit that's on clearance. Makes me wish i was more into customizing and had the space for it.
