I wouldn't recommend getting him for anything higher than voyager price. Bot modes alright, but he has shit shoulders. Tank has a bulging exposed jet cockpit at the front that you might either tolerate or hate. They didn't even try with the jet though.

The Autotrooper is pretty cool and the seeker isn't half bad. I've heard that the Legacy Skullgrin mold kind of sucks so I don't know how to feel about it. The Bailiff is meh, not a big fan of alicons

Not bad, especially if that $78 price is accurate.
I figured we'd get an Autotrooper from Siege Ironhide eventually, it works exactly as well as I expected, but a G2 Cybertronian from Skullgrin is a pleasant surprise, it works. I could take or leave the other two, though if nothing else I can take the head from the Seeker to swap out Skywarp's eternal scream.

Paint and plastic colors, the previous is closer to the movie, new one seems to be based on the 2 episodes they were on the cartoon S3.

I was all excited for skull grin but when I saw one in person I realized that skulls are cool and putting skulls on stuff doesn't always make stuff cooler. Do I want a skull bot? Sure, but I can wait or find something else instead. If the alt mode was a tank WITH a skull I'd be more excited.

Of course they ruin the box set by giving us another damn seeker for the Voyager slot. I know it’s a Thundercracker repack but fucking christs as far as Voyager class exclusive this year we’ve got nothing but seeker repaints between this, Nacelle, and that G2 conehead. How is this even a troop builder cause Thundercracker is an individual character. Plus It wouldn’t make any sense to pay for this set just for that repack alone.

And lo and behold Hasbro still sleeping on all the Beast War-related repaints we could’ve gotten this year to promote the fucking movie. Still no Cryotek, no Antagony, and no goddam Fractyl wtf! Hasbro couldn't even give us these easy ass repaints but nah more shitty ass G2 decos and more Cybertronian shit.

Bit their colors aren't the same? The purple seeker has black forearms, mostly purple legs and a bit of black on his forelegs with black feet. The purple generic almost has his purples and black swapped compared to Skywarp.

Another minion of Jhiaxus also named Rook showed up in Regeneration One, but he was so completely different, I wouldn't even call him the same guy. Just another name reuse on a similar concept. If your point point is "they will never reference kiss players" then no they won't, and this release is the animated version because that version turned into a cybertronian car based on a ratchet/ironhide mold. They doesn't mean they can't release a Datsun Autotrooper and it doesn't matter if they say it's from the kiss players universe because it's still g1.

It was, but the transformation is pretty much identical to a Datsun. Alternators/Bineltech had weird issues with vehicle licenses, leading to weird mismatches and strange choices. Current Jazz lacks door wings, so that's also a minus against it.

I'll do you one better. The black Roroitchi toy lacks antenna because of the wiki image, but if you watch the actual episode it turns out his antenna are black and are just hard to make out with the background, you can see them seconds after the screencap was taken.

They fucked up the colours of T-Wrecks because the one picture of the original they looked at washed out the gold. Looking at any other image of the toy would have told them the correct colour.

It's a genuine factory error and happens to like %80+ of the Netflix Soundwaves apparently.
My Apartment is cool and I get into the container often and so far the only ones that have discolored are ones known for it
All my Cyberverse Wave figs discolored too yet Deluxe BumbleeBee and Megatron are totally fine I believe
I heard this assortment from the wave was in production same as Netflix Soundwave and Kingdom Cyclonus/Tigatron
Which my Cyclonus also discolored lol

The worst was Sideways, people mistook the Robotmasters story as a multi-universe event similar to the Universe line when in actuality it was a time travelling event considering all the characters in it were G1. And then a Laser Cycle repainted Sideways was introduced to Robotmasters and a fan claim that it was the same Sideways from RiD2001 (who also was a Laser Cycle repaint) which was reiterated numerous times until it somehow became fact, that all the Sideways that appeared is one singular being who dimension hops frequently. TFWiki, Allspark Almanac and Ask Vector Prime didn't help matters by also presenting it as fact.

Looks v fun, glad you're enjoying. I've a soft spot for him so I got the Siege one, the pre/post battle-damage stuff is bullshit and so is not giving him both weapons in the initial run, but it's so fun. It's a blocky and pretty basic mold but somehow very exciting. Both these buzzworthy packs are a miss for me. I wanted Prowl and Ironhide without clear parts, but thr screaming heads and molded battle damage just ruin them.

The 4 pack could have picked a better color for the seeker generic, G2 trooper uses the Skullgrij mold with rubber everywhere, the bailiff mold that also uses a lot of rubber and an animated Autotrooper when I'd prefer the Kiss Player version.

Transformers Heroes was just the initial studies before anyone involved on the actual show making was on board. The kid character being Bumblebee was decided pretty much as soon as they joined up. I'm still mad we never got that Megatron from FoC Grimlock. Waspinator, Blackarachnia, Tarantulas and Quickstrike as G1 Insecticons would be great too. My favourite repaint in recent years was Convoybat from mindwipe. Maybe because I grew up in the 90's and 00'a when the beast wars botcon pre -show in unicron trilogy repaints happened but I always wanted to see more of this. I also loved BW Grimlock and TM2 Prowl as a kid and Universe.

I wasn't even going that far as it's just more they don't sell for the line. I mean, there have been girl focused super hero toy lines and dolls and they all crashed hard too. Those DC Superhero Girl dolls live and died in the span of a year. Hell they were released back in 2016 and most of them barley go for double retail brand new.

No more than the guys. Joe Classified Scarlet had the best sculpt and paint of wave one but she was the one you could get at retail no issue, The first Classified Lady Jay was fantastic as well but again she got down under $5 on Amazon and is still cheap, of the Snake Eyes movie line Scarlett was the best face print of the bunch while the other three look horrid yet, again, deep discounted even more than the two ninja boys. Earthrise/86 Arcee sold worse than the very lazily made Allicon for ER and the horrid SS Crosshairs(seriously how do you make him worse than a 6+ yo toy?).

No more than most of that line in general, she wasn't like ER OP that got made/repacked 7 different times in 8 months, she was like Huffer and Tracks and showed up in revision waves later and those two boys are long gone now, love or hate it, girl figures in action/"boy" lines don't usually sell well.

They already brought up that any character that appeared in the 86 movie could get a toy and weren't limited to main chracters (a stream apparently had them say they'd make every character in th4 movie, eventually).

Sort if related, the whole thing does annoying me. Certain diaclone repaints or other minor characters used a worse mold, and they'll never do a release with the new one.

Black Ironhide will never happen with the 86 mold, and I doubt we'll get Cordon or Spinout using the new Sunstreaker. Hell, no release of Stepper after we got 86 Jazz, and I doubt we'll get new Artfire or Hauler when the rumored SS86 Grapple releases.

If I were to customize my Sparkless Seeker at all I'd give him a shark-mouth on the nosecone. In my collection he's "Double Ugly" a psychotic scumbag who specialises in jungle warfare by using defoliants to remove the jungle. He's named after a slang term for the F-4 Phantom, as he kinda looks like he's got 'nam era aircraft camo.
His targetmasters (the only 'cons that can stand working with him due to being equally loathsome) are named Nape and Snake (after nicknames for napalm and regular bombs respectively). Nape sprays a specially brewed "super-napalm" that is impossible to extinguish until the fuel burns out, and Snake sprays a vicious solvent that destroys organic matter on contact, the recipes for these chemicals being stolen from Shockwave's archives. Specifically from a locked cabinet filled with weapon plans that Shockwave decided were unnecessarily cruel for use and whose horrific nature (and thus potential damage to Decepticon morale) outweighed their actual battlefield effectiveness.

The extended Dragon Megs tail is a bit dissapointing. It looks good with two extra segments, but they didn't engineer the tail to have side motion or being able to twist a bit to get more articulation, so thr most you can get is vertical motion out of it. Annoyingly enough, they actually did engineer the dragon head with more motion if you twisted the segments a bit so it's annoying the tail feels so limited.

After always treating him super carefully, something finally broke on my Menasor. it's a peg on his lower leg that's only used to join them for the trailer (it has another one though so it can still work fine). I'm bummed though, I hope one of the pegs that holds the cars doesn't snap too.

When I finally got a Tripedacus the pegs that lock Sea Clamp's legs into the back had long since snapped off into the slot themselves. Luckily for me that parts hold up with just friction anyway.

My worst was when I finally found a Reveal the Shield Lugnut at retail it had one leg improperly assembled so the screw didn't thread at all. His leg holds together with friction but it was still pretty disappointing that I got a dud like that.

Well, compared to Siege Springer here's what I'd like.

Honestly I'd much rather we got Megatron than Prime. I don't think we even need another G1 Prime, ER is pretty much as good as I can see a retail-level G1 Prime being. Sure he's not perfect but I don't realistically see how you could improve him at Hasbro budgets without compromising something and making him a sidegrade.
Megatron though, he needs a better toy. Siege is fine but felt lacking and ER is just awful.
Ultra Magnus I can see being cool if they do him as an all-in-one, not that I dislike power armour Magnus I just think a new one being all-inclusive would bring something new to the table.

I'm thinking.. the bow becomes a shield, attached to one arm, the other arm folds out from the body... the fin parts form the basis of legs, forming a nice big crotch-kicking shin-blade, the middle portions rearrange to make a good torso, and the bridge becomes the head. The dorsal fin might flip down onto its back, depends how well that leg thing works out.

How much does a complete Beast machines Supreme Cheetor go for on the secondary market? I ask because I collected all of the Beast machines toys back in the day and he was the only one I'm missing because my mom wouldn't let me get because of how big he was. Are there any commonly broken parts on him?

I know some like Nightscream suffer from shit plastic and break, but mine broke in such a way where he can be assembled in robot mode because of how clean the legs separated from the body.
