Yes, with limited quantities on Hasbro Pulse. Lately BBTS and EE have been buying up stock of some exclusives and selling them for marked up prices, so that’s probably why they have PR Yellows, although I don’t know if they’re marked up or not. I just know BBTS marks them up.

Not him. but they're unique. They'd be more eye catching on a shelf than most Rangers. I don't understand why people get so hung up on whether a Ranger took off their helmet in the show or not. Every Ranger can theoretically take off their helmet whether they do or not. Time Force never once appeared helmetless in the show, does that mean they shouldn't come with unmasked heads too? Because the two released already do. Trey also never appeared in suit without a helmet. It's called using your imagination, which is kind of the entire point of toys. At least it was before manbabies took it over and deemed no fun allowed.

So what additional weapons and accessories did you get as a result of Hasbro omitting the heads? Personal weapons were a pipe dream since I'm pretty sure they only appeared in Kakuranger, but they don't even come with the holstered versions of their sidearms. They don't come with any more shit than Rangers who got unmasked heads. Their effect parts are also phoned in afterthoughts, no effort was put into sculpting something unique for them (water related would have been a nice touch) with the budget they saved on Aquitian heads.

Let's not pretend for a minute that when Hasbro omits a head they put that budget somewhere else. The Psycho Rangers and SPD A-Squad have no alt heads and only come with one weapon each. They couldn't even throw a Savage Sword in for Psycho Pink, something even Bandai had planned because it's such an obvious and important accessory. Hasbro omits heads when they think they can get away with it and simply pockets the savings. Instead of making excuses for them you should be holding them to the standards they themselves set when they announced the Lightning Collection, whether you care about the heads or not. They said every Ranger would come with an unmasked head. Unless it's a Phantom scenario where there is no unmasked head they could give him, it should be expected.

So I got Z/Yellow SPD Ranger today at Gamestop and WTF is up with her right arm? The right shoulder join is utterly different from the left shoulder in that it can only move up or down and can't be moved horizontally. Did I get a defected figure? Or did they fuck up the design for Z, even though she was heavily anticipated due to her being the last of the SPD rangers?

Just got back from Rangerstop and had a pretty good time. Sadly didn't come away with any figures because they only really had overstock LC marked up to double retail and a few import mechs for the most part. I got a pretty rad sketch of Doggie Kruger from one of the artists there though.

I think the general sentiment is that collectors will buy them all, but people who fence sit might only buy the seasons they care about, at least at first. Which means MMPR has to constantly have some form of recent release, and the more popular teams get drip fed to us because it extends steady sales for as long as possible. And now they’re playing the long game, hoping you’ve maybe had a taste of Zeo and SPD, so why not start getting Lightspeed Rescue too?

I mean I feel like just rereleasing the space team would’ve been a slam dunk. Use the pinless molds, give them the Blaster sidearm + personal weapons, and their Galaxy gliders. But instead we have a straight rerelease of TJ with a glider and that’s it. I guess it didn’t sell well enough, but like, $30 for a glider and a figure you already have is a terrible deal.

He was revealed before the first figure even released, so I'm sure most people just chose between which thing they wanted more, the glider or Psycho Silver. Cycle Silver is pinless and has a different Zhane head, so there's more reason to justify buying it if you already have Walgreens Silver. Though I think they missed the opportunity to further differentiate the two by painting the lightstar helmet mode illuminated. The glider Space Rangers should have been pinless, with booster mode weapons, different unmorphed heads, and lightstar helmet mode on. Separated Astro Blasters would have also been a nice touch. Hasbro got greedy releasing the exact same figure in close succession. The glider is still shelf warming in my area.

Buddy of mine picked up LC Trent because I’m a big Abarekiller fan and he found it at a decent price, but it still has the cocked up helmet. Does anyone know of any good fine-point paint pens/markers I can use to fix it? My hand is not steady enough to fix it with brushed-on paint, but a marker/pen is something I could work with.

I got all the street fighters except ken. The looks are 10/10. I really like how hasbro/saban put alot of effort into them. I'm a big mmpr hater, but i can understand why these are mmpr rangers. Although i don't think chun li, or ryu are all that related.

They are way too expensive, but if they all include a shield to look like a sixth ranger, i think its ok. Ryu is the only figure with alot of tooling. I think ryu is just a new helmet, and shield. I don't know where the gloves came from, but i'd bet they're reuse/preuse.

The joints are fucking unacceptable. The knees never feel like they need the same ammount of pressure. I really want hasbro to work on this. I had to use kikis and lube to fix these.

Overally if mmpr figures were as good as cammy i trust hasbro to design new mmpr rangers. I think that would be good for the brand to have a titanus, bulk, and skull rangers.

This crossover was good, and i think they should make it a six person team with dhalsim, and guile. I thought about this for 15 minutes, and i think guile is a must have, and dhalsim seemed like the only non villain, normal guy except fei long and deejay. Dhalsim took priority because he's in the original rooster.

Please finish this team.

A custom might be simple enough though with how the suit's broken down, just need to paint the colored parts. If you can separate limbs you could even use a base male yellow figure's thighs and arms and switch the gloves and boots. Then all you'd need to paint would be the lower torso piece of a male Galaxy ranger.

That's what the Lightning Collection should have been in the first place. They may not be as bad as what BoA was doing, but Hasbro's figures are still exaggerated. In the show the difference between the guys and girls is subtle enough that they could get away with gender bending, but the figures are very blatantly male and female. Look at the Psychos, the genders are pretty indistinguishable, but the figures needed a seperate female mold, because the other one was too overtly male.

NTA but mine is fine. The box is a bit too small leading to the clips holding the shield in place to break if too much pressure is applied. As long as you get a non broken copy out of the box, you should be fine. Be warned it's basically a brick though, nothing compareable to the Dino Megazord of the same line.

I badly want the US footsoldiers who never got action figures above all else. Piranhatrons, Quantrons, Stingwingers, Tyrannodrones. Though given that Hasbro clearly skipped to Putrids because of how cheap and easy they would be to make, I don't have high hopes.

Quantrons probably have the best chance given how in demand they are. I worry that they'd just make Triptoids if they ever do Dino Thunder footsoldiers, since they'd be cheaper/easier. Krybots could reuse the Putrid body with only a new head and belt, so I think they have a very strong chance. It would also be minimal tooling to do a Blue and Orangehead. They should release the standard Krybot solo, and then do a Blue/Orangehead two-pack. Or do a Tyrannodrone/Krybot two-pack. It's frustrating that there's so many footsoldier options, yet they go and release a Tenga two-pack in colors that aren't even from anything.

The most common missing parts for the Supertrain are the antennas on the red and blue zords, and the lift that attaches to the pink one but that's only used by the original Rescue zords. Also, might need to see if the connecting hooks/pegs on the bumpers are broken, those tend to break off over the years.

Madame Woe is one thing, but Tigerzord not getting enough pre-orders is pretty damning. What more can they really do if White Ranger's Zord didn't sell enough to go into production? The poor QC after people finally got these in hand no doubt hurt future sales, and I think people were waiting to see if wave 2 fixed the issues. Wave 4 was the first to go up for pre-order after the first wave's release, so it makes sense people would feel reluctant to pull the trigger after so many reported issues. It probably also doesn't help that the wave 1 figures are widely available for cheaper than the pre-order prices. I find it hard to imagine how the line recovers.

Its too much to be fixed with a retail release like the zeo cogs.

So far wild force has been perfect, but that could easily change.

I think the alien ninja rangers are perfect. I don't see anything missing. Aquitar heads are missing but i only display with helmet on.

I used to have inspace red yellow and black, but my spiral saber paint rubbed off, and i stopped buying the team.

I stopped collecting dino charge after black because it took ages to come out.

It really annoys me how haphazard Hasbro is with the colors of their effect parts. Magna should have a green blast, and the rest of the Galaxy Ranger's effects should be color coordinated. You can swap effects from other figures to get some of the correct colors, but not when it's something unique like the Transblaster or Quasar Launcher's effects.

They made them basic size with barely basic articulation and wanted $17 for them. The PR team is leaderless and everyone is doing their own thing and putting their own spin on how figures should look versus what fans have been yelling about for decades, give us screen accurate figures. If they want to sell non-combining zord articulated zords, they need to scale with the monster line, which is also failing because they said, "hur dur lets make them not scale with our flagship lighting collection line, fans like non-scales figure right?" I had so much hope when they made Goldarr and Zed, but they kept fumbling the ball with inaccurate paints, inconsistent team looks, and they can't even keep Tommy Oliver's face the same between his figures. It's the same damn sculpt with a different haircut, you do not need to rescultpt it from the ground up using Art Institute students everytime he gets a new figure.

Those retro Megazords are probably the most screen accurate we've ever gotten. Yeah the articulation was basic, but Zords aren't generally known for their mobility. They're scaled perfectly to the main villains like Goldar, and if you want to have a giant Green Ranger taking on the OG Megazord, that's perfectly in scale as well. The scale problem isn't with those Zords, it's with the monsters of the day. It was always retarded to make them larger than everything else. If anything should have been scaled to them, it should've been the zap stuff. But for cheap, non-transforming zords, I think then retros are the perfect size.

Their biggest flaw is the minimal paint, but it's not difficult to take a Gundam marker and fill in some of those missing details. I'd also say they were a bit too highly priced, but if Hasbro had made them fully painted and/or articulated they'd have probably cost at least $35, so I think $16 (first wave, $17 wave 2) was fair enough. It bums me out that we'll never get a screen accurate Dragonzord at that size, or anything from season 3 or Zeo. I don't know why they bothered with the Galaxy Megazord if the second wave was gonna ge entirely MMPR. Should've just done the damn normal Dragonzord.

I’ve got one. It doesn’t look nearly as nice as the Bandai legacy version, but it’s not bad if that’s all you can get and don’t mind weird additions like glowy lights. Whether it’s worth paying rape prices for is up to you though.

A glorified statue is fine for someone like Mondo, there's no need to overthink things and try to shoehorn in articulation that isn't necessary like legs. Hasbro should do Mondo, Machina, and Sprocket as a basic articulated three pack for the price of a two pack. Sprocket is half a figure, and given the reduced articulation for everyone, that should have no problem costing out.

Klank lends himself more to being a proper articulated figure, so he could be a theoretical solo release with Orbis (standard and throwing versions). Gasket and Archerina also lend themselves to being fully articulated, and as stated would make for a great two pack. Not that I expect any of this to ever happen, but it sure would be nice to finally get some figures of the main villains which aren't hollow single colored bowling pins that weren't even released in America.

Honestly, the Retrofires were kind of fucking awesome. The Zeo one with full size wings (which are removable even!) fucking slaps, and the fact that they all came with basis so you could pose them in flight etc just made it better. The Wild Force and Dino Thunder megazords from the line were awesome as fuck too.

Yeah, this, exactly. It's not like Mondo has a lot of points of articulation to begin with, so they should make sure he gets the few points he does have. As stubby as his arms are, they should still be able to tilt up and down and from side to side.

I always hated those stylized shits. The normal looking figures they did in the Dino Charge line were far superior, or even the original action feature Zords. They didn't always have the best articulation, but they generally looked accurate to the suits in the show. If you prefer the look of right/left to middle, you have horrendous taste.

That isn't what was said. Whatever company Brian wouldn't name bought in on an order of Power Rangers, but when the figures hit dock here in the States the company cancelled the order. So Super7 got stuck with them. Peobably because people mass cancelled the orders for the terrible first wave.

Around 24 minutes he starts and then right when Brian starts going into the meat and potatoes of the company the interviewer decides to go back to figures and ignore everything else, completely fumbled it.

So a retailer cancelled approximately 10% of an MMPR wave, which didn't make Super7 happy, and now they have stock on hand, which they didn't before. So what Brian said was the figures arrived, company said they didn't want them, and Super7 was stuck with them to sell.

He also thinks there wasn't a surge with the market during COVID.

This guy's lost the plot. He's going to drive the company he made under.

I’d be willing to be that while they could just reuse old heads, like the Gender swapped pack, they didn’t want to shell out for a new head for Kiya. And they didn’t want to tack extra costs on anyway for 3/4 heads.

I’m not saying it makes sense, I’m just guessing as to why they did it this way.

Also, JDF did technically portray Drakkon, unmasked, in that love action trailer for the comic. They probably were able to use that as justification to include a civilian head, especially since it matches up with how JDF looked during the trailer.

I recommend it, if you can track them down, there hasn't been a single dud yet.
They did a second run of most things when Super Mini-Pla got changed to Shokugan Model Project, but the P-Bandai sets didn't.
Plus it's been a minute, so even if availability is up, the prices haven't come down.
So you shouldn't have much trouble finding say, the Dino Megazord and Dragonzord, but Titanus will be harder. But you'll want to get him too, he has a fucking motor.

Also if you get the NinjaFalconMegazord, the Falcon can attach to Ninjor's back.

If they're trying to time a relaunch to go with the reboot which has had delays and turnovers for years and now ends up in limbo due to the strikes in Hollywood, then yeah of course it makes sense. I would imagine Haabro might scale back on other lines too, they're flooding the market with their offerings and I constantly see Hasbro 6 inches of all types just sitting on shelves at Target and Gamestop.

Minotaur and Snizzard were clearly made with "Once and Always" in mind. And to be fair Minotaur did have a figure back in the day, and was in the fist Sega Genesis game, so he's not exactly obscure. Goatan is easily once of the least known season 1 monsters. Never had an action figure, never appeared in a game, and never made a return appearance.

That George guy has literally never been mentioned in a thread once, this is the first time I've ever seen him and been lurking here since 2018 (if he was harassed before that then he needs to fucking move on). I don't like Bruno but MMPRtoys gets brought up way more than any of these guys. And he barely updates anymore.

It's actually the other way around. They told the show crew to make Minotaur and Snizard Robo-Rita's generals because they had LC figures out/coming out. Because if "Once & Always" came first, why the hell would Rita's generals be two monsters of the week instead of Goldar and Rito? And even if they wanted two monsters to be Robo-Rita's generals because why not, Minotaur and Snizard still don't make any sense, because King Sphinx, Pudgy Pig, Eye Guy, and Pumpkin Rapper are probably the most popular/iconic monsters from Season 1.
