Shiny plastic looks like shiny plastic under bright lights. Plastic coated with a flat/matte topcoat, whether painted or not, will not be this disgustingly shiny even under bright lights

Don't bother, this site has tons of people who can't tell the difference. People love to defend Bandai's cheap shitty glossiness for whatever reason and argue that it's just lightning (even if you literally own the figure itself and can confirm it's glossy.)

Figuarts Cooler, SS4 Goku, SHMA Shin Godzilla were all figures some people had argued was an issue of lightning. All of these figures, similar to Power, has the bare plastic shiny sheen.

Go Google up comparisons of Gunpla and matte coat vs. bare plastic and you'll see how matte actually looks like.
