I don't get it. I don't understand it. I have literally zero duplicate figures in my collection. I have exactly one Spiderman. One of the super posible ones from the sam raimi movies.
I also collect transformers, but I fucking hate how the last ten lines of TF figures have been nothing but optimus, megatron, bumblebee, and starscream. I also hate that they made like 200000 redesigns of the same fucking G1 designs, they're all exactly the same. I miss the unicron trillogy, because nothing in that series was the same as one another, it was great.
I collect gundam, whats nice about that is no two model kits are the same. I only have 1 RG RX-78-2. Thats all I need. I have nearly a hundred gundam models, none of them are the same. I have like 10 zakus and 10 GMs, and every one of them is completely different, and thats the closest to any kind of army building I've done.
I can't fucking stand pictures of a shelf with like 2000 of the same exact identical character. That person clearly has zero creativity. I don't understand people who hyper focus on collecting only one toy line or one specific franchise or character. I get bored of seeing the same thing over and over.
