>>10496980It's simple. They fire people, then replace them with a greater number of people so everything's done in large teams so "everyone feels included." It's like in modern Hollywood that can't hire one or two good scriptwriters, and need to hire large "story groups" to have 10 - 20 people do what one or two competent people could do. And they were all hired through diversity checkboxes.
Look at the Hasbro Pulse livestreams where you got that one guy who talked about the character's provenance, where it's from within the tv show or movie, and all the details done to make it as close as possible, then that young white girl who says "I like the backpack!" And she's the marketing manager and the fucking boss of the other person.
These companies have been doing that shit for years. Even schools have been caught laying off older experienced teachers for young "social progressives."
And most of these people who do this aren't allowed to talk about it. They sign that NDA saying they weren't fired for being older and white in exchange for a good reference and their last paycheck, and if they don't sign, then their names get shit-listed as racist/sexist/whatever-ist to ruin them as much as possible.
Don't trash Scott for getting laid off by Mattel. What happened to him has happened to a lot of people, and is still happening courtesy of DEI/ESG and "diversity officers."
