New wave was revealed recently for the Adventure Series featuring Last Crusade and Dial of Destiny figures. Build an Artifact is the Holy Grail display.

As far as higher end 1/12 figures, we had the SH Figuarts that was revealed but recently Mezco revealed their Raiders Indy as well.

Hot Toys also showed off their Dial of Destiny Indy.

It’s a real good time to be an Indy fan. Feel free to add other big reveals I might have missed.

Man I miss the 3.75 line from the crystal skull days one of those cost like what the retro style basic Kenner figures are selling for now. That being said I want the temple of doom six inch Indy figure looks cool

It kinda turns me off and rethink purchasing a figure when there's too much reference to modern garbage attached.

could be autism but remember the Mezco Punisher? I settled for the regular version because the deluxe included the red skull symbol, Thunderbolts reference.

No, they weren't underrated. After they fixed the fried egg eye paint of the first wave,we all knew we were living in the glory days of Hasbro. Prices were decent,and everything had bonus pieces - Indy relics & SW build a droid parts. Collectors were in heaven, it was the kids that weren't into Indy. 2-pack army builders were great too.

Only idiots fall for swaps. It's very easy to tell when the tape has been tampered with. Unless the swapper had the patience to carefully remove it without damaging the box and replacing it with the exact type and size of tape without getting their greasy finger prints on the adhesive, there's no way you should be getting duped by swaps in physical stores.

The entire swapping process is painfully easy when you've bought the item and taken it home with ill intent.
Famous paintings get counterfeited, movie props get counterfeited and sold at auction ALL the time, but not, a simple toy package is an uncrackable nut to people like you.

I saw Dial of Destiny on Sunday. It would have been passable, albeit boring, if not for the final act which was ridiculous enough to get my attention, and the ending was absolutely infuriating. I'm not really gonna say whether you should or shouldn't pass on the movie but I will say, Lucasfilm did exactly to Indy what they did to all the male Star Wars characters, so if you hated those you will hate this too. They haven't learned a damn thing. They had some good actors who are completely wasted on the material they're given, but the new female sidekick is super grating. On the bright side, it gave me a new appreciation for the Temple of Doom, which I watched today and it's actually grown on me. Even Willie doesn't seem so bad and I realize she has a much better arc than Helena, who doesn't seem to have any consistent characterization other than that she annoys the shit out of me. Also, the movie was about 20 minutes too long because I had to piss like a racehorse before it was over. I am sick to death of these indulgent blockbusters that think they're so important that they have to run 20 to 30 minutes longer than I can comfortably hold my pee in.

It makes me real mad that you have to buy Dial of Destiny figures to get all of the Last Crusade artifacts but I guess I could just buy the artifacts on eBay.

I think you are exaggerating, it was not that bad, and I say this as someone who normally hates Disney schlock and every single Star Wars movie they put out.

The ending did annoy me though, just let the man die living his dream jesus.

Indy had absolutely no agency over what happens to him in the final act. He's a prisoner to the Nazis, and then he's Helena's prisoner. Helena makes all the decisions for him like he's in a nursing home, and she punches an 80 year old man in the head so hard that she puts him into a coma.

Indy himself was acting completely out of character because they just had to give Helena one last dig on him. He's ultimately a dotoring, washed up has-been who needs to be put back in his place by Kathleen Kennedy's newest self-insert. His final desperate play to make a decision for himself (which was not even in character for him) is overruled and vetoed by the movie's real main character.

Imagine if in Temple of Doom, Henry Sr. had to punch out Indy when he was reaching for the grail during the earthquake instead of giving the audience the satisfaction of how the scene actually played out. It would have ruined the film and felt phony, and that's exactly what they did in Dial of Destiny.

I'm gonna try and get wave 1 all at once to save on shipping and so I can build the Ark right away, because that's a great prize. I might pick up Mola Ram, Shorty and battle-damaged Indy and of course there's a few Last Crusade figures I want, Henry Sr. and the Grail Knight being chief among them.

This line is gonna bleed me dry but I absolutely am not going to spend a penny on Dial of Destiny figures. I would sooner buy Crystal Skull figures than Dial of Destiny.

The one thing that kinda sucks is the Old Indy and Helena figures have part of the TOD BAA and the Jurgen Voller and Renaldo figures have BAA parts for the Grail table. Hasbro is basically forcing you to buy characters no one wants in order to complete these sets.
