It was OK at best and usually just looked messy. And the actual articulation engineering on the McFarlane Halo stuff was garbage. 90 degree knees and elbows on figures too big to justify it, and the Elites' legs were basically useless. Plus thanks to the rounded feet bottoms they couldn't even stand up straight.

Covenant were all at a bigger scale than the Spartans, and not even consistently (Reach Grunts dwarf H3 Grunts for some reason?) and the Spartans were too big for 1:18 but too small for 1:12, and then the ODSTs were 1:18 almost exactly, and the Spartans still kept shifting between lines and argh.
