I'm >>10516344. I spent some time remaking the Lone Ranger Constitution Train Chase train in Brinklink's creator. I really like the tender as a play feature so I brought it over too. I'm trying to figure out what to change now though; I'd really like to add rails on the wheels using technic pins and lift arms but I'm not sure to measure those out. The interior of the cab and the boiler in the base model look really boring too, but its a little too cramped to add anything interesting.

Any ideas on things that would be cool or fun for a train?

The element numbers listed in the back of the instructions are Lego's internal cataloging system and have nothing to do with the numbers printed on the pieces, while Bricklink's catalog system is just cataloging the numbers printed on the bottom of the pieces.

If you're unfamiliar with the parts catalog and don't want to ask for specific parts in the Lego General, you could try looking up the element ID from the instructions on Brickset, which will direct you to the listing page on Bricklink.

Say, that looks really nice. Not a trainfag but the LR Constitution is one of my favorite Lego trains of all time.

Sure, I hope this give you a good look at it. It's just empty with a big black radar dish for a boiler, which IMO doesn't really read as a boiler door to me.

The Constitution was definitely the best looking of the trains that I saw. for my needs, although I've just discovered the Western Train Chase from Toy Story which looks really good too.

(also why are there two Lego generals? I just posted in the first one that was posted but now there's a new one.)

How does ideas work? I had assumed it was relatively altruistic like mocpages, but with all the people begging for 'support' it seems more grifterish.
