Non-comic meme releases that I’m aware of include Paradron Medic and Jhaxius
The situation with the seekers is different as well due to the high number of recolors. The three 1.5s ended up in JP G1 boxes. The extended recolors went to US G1. The Coneheads got a weird box set (G2 Ramjet was G2 though). Skywarp and Thundercracker didn’t get EX versions at all.
They’ve been pretty consistent. I just think their box art is drifting away from the G1 art. If you look at Starscream or Grimlock, they’re closer than Hound and Sludge. Since I actually like this stuff for real, not ironically or contrarian, I’m disappointed in the shift.
