I'd get this one, but I hate the game franchise so much and don't want to be reminded of it.

How come?
Personally I've never played the game nor care about the lore or story (I recently discovered it even existed) but the character designs of Overwatch are the best I've ever seen.

(Note: Overwatch 2 designs are shit.)

Wild Bill from GI Joe, I guess? I hope Classified remakes his 2nd design which was so blatantly Theodore Roosevelt from the rough riders days. I think Dime Store Novels did that one though, along with Sundown from COPS.

Erron Black was introduced in 2015.
Overwatch was released in 2016 with character and promotional videos hyping the game since 2014.

They don't even have the same aesthetic. McCree clearly is inspired by Clint Eastwood's character The Man With No Name. Same goes for Erron Black as far as the poncho goes.

Literally all of that is true lol.
I just love their character designs (but not for Overwatch 2). My theory is that the game got popular mainly by the merits of its artstyle. The fact that they keep releasing skins after skins is confirmation of this.
I did watch some YT gameplay vids. Looked less fun than TF2.

Not exactly cowboy but if you're looking for western-themed figures, the Old Man Logan two-pack is a good investment. The only downside here is that Logan doesn't come with revolvers or revolver-holding hands and you're stuck with a weird-ass hulk baby.

Here's a photo I did with a 3D printed revolver and hands from Huge Ackman's Logan figure. You can do headswaps with Hawkeye if you want, they all look perfectly grouchy.

OW's similarities to TF2 are pretty basic/surface level though, they're both class-based FPS games but they're not THAT similar when you actually get down to brass tacks. And TF2 is based on a Quake clone anyway so it's not like it can even be called entirely original itself.
Honestly it's a shame Blizzard shat the bed with OW so hard, the game was pretty fun at first. Plus the character designs were cool.

For a macro zoom lens, it's relatively cheap at $150. Thankfully I live in a /p/ third world city full of failed studio photographers and trend chasers so I managed to get it 2nd hand at $70. Funny enough, the 50mm Sigma cost me $130 and that old model was known for its AF problems. Luckily I managed to find a 2nd hand one with its firmware already updated.

Games popularity was strictly due to blizzards old rep, cuz as a game it was fine, but incomplete. $60 for ONLY some pvp!? Shortly prior Titanfall and star wars battlefront got HEAPS of shit for offering the same, but because blizzard did it, oh em gee, game of the year!!

Now that blizzards rep is less than dog shit, the game can't stand on its own, and is rightfully dying.

Designs are good, but I wouldn't say best. Everyone is bright and colorful special snowflake, so next to each other they get real old, real fast.

12 years for me, at least. I started when KB Toys was still very active and even BBTS even had some leftover. I only swapped parts with maybe 3 characters, but they were still posed a lot. Until like 3 years ago, theyve been in storage, and that's when i noticed all the stress on them. Luckily they were still valuable on ebay

1 thing that you can always count on TF2 community is how much they let Overwatch live rent free inside their head even though OW never even considered TF2 to be any sort of rival or threat. Gotta love those "TF2 IS BETTER THAN OW" videos those NPCs been making since 2016.

I haven't touched TF2 in ages but god damn what a masterclass. They designed a bunch of dudes on a specific theme and every one of them is absolutely timeless. Can't say how it compares to OW but people still play it, it's quite impressive.

They didn't "fuck up". They were so successful that older players stopped playing. It's literally why I quit myself. I was in my 20s back then. The hat economy increased the player base to absurd amounts, and all of them young, and all of them only talked about hats. They didn't even play the game. They just talked about hats. They were literally one up-ing each other on who has the best hats. They were paying at some point 30$ for a hat that costs 10$ in real life.

None of mine that I have bought new as an adult have had this issue but they didn't withstand play from kids very well. My childhood Xevoz and a lot of my secondhand ones are floppy as all hell.
