Since the hasbro line is sadly dead, let's discuss what we wish had made it in before it ended.

It failed because it competes with fortnite. Kids can either have new skins or action figures.

Hasbro should learn to not make 20$ figures in games with micro transactions.

Including 10 free exclusive skins would've guaranteed sales. Kids would buy the figures just for skins, learn they like figures and buy more.

By kids I mean 8-16

Wouldn't work. Hasbro was using those cheap cardboard packaging which are easy to steal from and FN kids are known to steal anything they can get on their FN account for free. Do you remember when a certain type of PC was unlocking a special limited time skin? People were going into Best Buy and fucking with the demo machines in the hopes to be the first person to log into FN with it to steal the code.

It’s because they were trying to give us things Jazwares hadn’t done, but honestly I would’ve taken redos of the things Jazwares had done because honestly the Hasbro ones were better in pretty much every way except amount of accessories and the swappable faces. I like potassius peels, but we should’ve gotten a normal peely, fishstick, and jonesy early on.

I completely agree. They're at least in the same scale but the pinless is too nice. Dare I say it's the best 6" hasbro line, with a big shout out to Midas Rex.

The Hasbro figures are perfect representations of the in-game Fortnite models. They blow all other companies out of the park in that regard. The two I really wanted before the line died were a regular old Midas (not gold, not shadow, not Rex, and not with a stupid facial expression) and a default anime girl style Lexa. The robot is cool and all, but just isn't the same. With the beautiful sculpts they were putting out, those figures would have been amazing.

And here's my updated collection. Got my Mando and Master Chief from some recommendations here. I thought I was done, but thinking I'll pick up Kit and display him in roller mode next to Lynx. Then I'm thinking either Agent Peely, Shadow Meowscles or Foundation to round out the back row.

Yeah GG knocked it out of the park with that Bastila statue, I love it. And yeah I do play Fortnite. Got into it for my job but it's actually extremely fun, especially now that there's a no build mode which makes it a lot more accessible to me and my friend group.

I know they've done the banana man and army man, I just haven't gotten them yet. I was saying that even though I don't have them, I want them eventually. To my knowledge, no company has done meow skulls. It would be much easier to spam than just pointing out figures I'm too poor to get.

Mcfarlane did the green army man as a 7" figure. They're probably a little lesser in quality than jazzwares and Hasbro is #1. Usually they aren't but it seems like they really wanted to flex on other toy companies.
Plastic Patrol, the green army man, is ok. He's one of the only guys who I can accept having pins since he's a skin of a toy. He's got real lanky limbs and his bottom is wider than his torso so it looks like a diaper but if you pose him with his gun well, he's ok.

So many cool new skin designs and Hasbro doesn't touch them. Meanwhile, McFarlane & Jazwares had been making hit skin after hit skin into figures. It's like Hasbro intentionally worked towards making their own line a failure. Even crazier is they got characters in Fortnite that they make the toys for. G.I.Joe, Star Wars, Transformers, Marvel. They could've done a bunch of Brand x Fortnite crossover toys. But noooo.....all we get is like 1 Snake Eyes figure that was delayed by like a whole year.

The only thing I can't figure out is with all their money hasbro couldn't include a code with the figure for a special game unlock?

I would agree, more accurate than the Jazwares stuff, and possibly better quality plastic/joints. Something about the Jazwares line just seemed more fun though, despite the awful finger hinges.
