Ooh baby, Ruller just arrived and im immediately smitten.
I dont have a good light setup of any kind but trust me when i say the gently shiny blue looks stunning, the white is crisp too, the red chest looks a little flat in comparison but not bad at all. And i didnt realize from reviews that he had clear red for the lights, it pops really well even though its small accent pieces.
The sculpt work is great, gentle clean angles that still have a good dynamic look. I really love the way his shapes are, boxy heroic chest, wide shoulders, smooth thighs, chunky legs, i love the placement of the wheels especially.
Surprisingly weighty compared to how he looks, tall deluxe/short voyager range, but solid plastic and a few bits of diecast in the legs/feet.
Posing is a bit mixed. Head is expressive, huge range on the ab crunch, standard bicep rotation, double jointed elbows get you about 170, wrist rotation, hips go fully out in every direction with hip skirts and just over 90 on the knees.
However, some negatives. Shoulders dont go up/out much at all, thighs dont get much rotation either and the ankle is very limited. The knees are also on ratchets that feel overly tight, they dont feel or sound like a break hazard right now but no need to be so stiff.
