Meanwhile, cleanups can bring in new fans. I find it interesting how Toxic Crusaders has been pretty much dusted off and reintroduced to the world in the past few years. I remember seeing the old toys on shelves and not caring, and now I'm a fan. More fans bring more money and more projects can be made. I tracked down the DVD of the cartoon that was in a box set from a few years back, I'd absolutely buy it again on blu ray.
I'm EXCITED about the prospect of old & "lost" cartoons being rescued with AI. I already suspect GI Joe was redone with it since the youtube stream looks so much cleaner than the DVD's now. I've always wanted to see Sectaurs and thats only available on an old VHS or the shittiest most compressed rip that was floating around. And Inhumanoids & Visionaries would be fun to see. Thundercats in its current state is very drained of color and is in decent enough shape I'm sure AI would do a great job on it.
