I always wanted one of Resaurus' prototypes for their Quake and Duke Nukem figures. They're probably sitting in some former employees attic.

Yes, this, and it's coming out next month. Couldn't be happier. Only other thing I can think of is a good 1/6 Alucard which will probably never happen.

My grail was a rubber-foam plush allosaurus from the Discovery Channel Store sold during the early 2000s. I’m a huge dinosaur-fag and at at 15 was still riding the high of how awesome Walking with Dinosaurs and The Ballad of Big Al had been. I had very little allowance and was unable to save up enough to get the allo plush before Discovery stores stopped carrying them. For 20 years I scoured eBay whenever I had a moment for any listing for the plush secondhand, never seeing anything.

Then, in 2020 while writing more or less the same post as this on another toy-related forum on a grail thread I decided on a whim to check eBay mid-writing, just for the hell of it. Shit you not, there it was. $97 in decent shape, bought it instantly. Getting that allo at long last brought a joy to my heart I hadn’t felt in so long.

Three years later I found and bought two more.

Figma Utena, I was ill and poor when she came out so I never got her, so I bit the bullet on a used one that was about £40 less including shipping than the usual asking price for her from the US.
Followed each tracking update, I’ve been so excited. She is now home forever in my detolf, and I’m planning a good real display for her.

Always want this, but I just can't justify the price.
It's 1/15th scale so it's really small, too small to pay 200+ which is all I ever find it for.
One day I'll just cave, it's the only boomer there will ever be, but for now I'll just be sad.
