>>10605162The plan is to spray everything with a matte finish. This will give it enough teeth to hold paint, so then I'll try to go in with a darker wash on the blue and dab it off, and really push wrinkles and seams.
Give the boots and shorts a dark cherry metallic coat. The toes are going to be tricky since they'll chip if I move him around too much.
Then repainting the belt, likely with gold. Probably going to try to match those weird dark lips to the rest of his face.
The hard part will be making the shield. I'm going to use a hair dry to soften some polystyrene to fit his chest and cut out the negative areas so the trim and S pop. Should be fun, I'm super hyped for it, with my luck I'll get the good version of the toy when I don't want it and won't need to repaint it.
