How much longer do you think mass market retail will be able to sustain stocking action figures, to keep relying on the fiction that kids still buy action figures? The retailers either run them on a razor's edge margin or actively are a loss category are they not? Aren't they destined for an LCS/online/specialty retailer future?
Every time there is a horrible movie with figures made for it to "billboard" for the movie alone or a company makes a bad decision on character choice for a line, its the retailer that eats the cost. How much longer in changing economic times can they bear this?
