I don't post on Instagram so I don't care about likes, I just hate how fucking common it's become. A lot of these "people" have the most disgusting, dirty, pudgy hands and it makes no sense why they can't just use a stand, especially when so many of the figures they show off include one

Had to search the toy photography hashtag on Instagram for a while to get what you were talking about.
Look anon, it's just a trend. And kids this days love trends. That said, some of those picture, specially the ones with articulated spideys (not like the shitty one in your post), look really dynamic. There's value to them in a fast paced easy satisfaction zoomer kind of way.

The most common compliment I get from girls is that I have beautiful hands, but if I were to do internet shit where I work with my hands in front of a camera I'd feel self-conscious as fuck about all the nicks and peeled skin. I'd start getting fucking manicures and I'd still feel weird about it. I don't know how these super cringe people can put their face online and put up that stupid internet act.
I'm just not cut for this era.

Lovely B&W photo and even lovelier digits! Though I think your first image captures the essence of Bruce Wayne flawlessly. I made a similar one a year ago with Iron Spider but it was mostly to test what a single color BG from a monitor would look like.

You're still able to see more than the top posts for a hashtag? Last I heard the site basically committed suicide by removing the ability to scroll through all of a tag's recent posts.

Yeah I don't get it either, what's the appeal of using a hand? There's a guy who keeps popping up on my feed who is really good at posing dynamically but only ever posts hand pictures.
