Well I've got a Kitz Concept Dana Sterling that's been on preorder for over three years now. FansToys Blitzwing is sitting at just over four. No light at the end of either tunnel.

I recently cancelled ML retro black suit Spiderman because it sat for 16 months with no release in sight. The 1:12 Metal Slug girls are in danger of being cancelled too.

Mezco takes fucking forever now to release their One:12 stuff.

They announced these fucks like 2 or 3 years ago and they still aren't even up for preorder.

i ordered from Mezco directly and i got a "hey, you're about to be charged if you didn't pay for it earlier" notice a week or so ago
now if only i wasnt stupid and didnt order this guy through BBTS...and they also released him quicker

how is the new spiderman better than the old one? Only difference i've noticed is just the design, but is it even out?

None of the other newer figures are better anyway. Last real improvement was just in the form of the bodies.

The blue fabric looks like t-shirt material and it isn’t based off of any specific artists rendition (which always annoys me personally) and it doesn’t come with an unmasked head and the colors are too drab and ugly and his shoes are weird

Though it's as I suspected, the pyramid isn't wholly accurate (2 screw bolts instead of just 1, biomass is too clumpy on the back, right side of the helmet isn't engorged which can be seen on the game model and later HD sculptures like the Gecco statues/Figma). So there's a bit of Mezcofication here but it looks alright enough and the articulation makes up for it.

i don't think there'll ever be a fully accurate pyramid head, even the Gecco statue takes some minor liberties with things like coloration
kind of hard when the in-game model's so dark and high contrast
beyond that, a little disappointing the flesh blob's bright orange like the figma and the outfit's a bit blurry looking, but oh well, still better overall than the figma

I was mainly referring to the pyramid sculpt, but i thought the latest statues from Gecco and Numskull are pretty close but either way, I'm just glad the Mezco release turned out solid. Even has double elbows which wasn't on the prototype pics.

They’re missing the silver/white trim on the boots and, he’s a little too buff but, those are extremely good also, I don’t like how they do the dented panel on the helmet. Still good tho. I like the iconiq 1/6th scale figure yet, again too buff and no trim on the boots.
