>>10618395Why do we need to have this thread every few months? The answer doesn't change. As long as you present yourself and your collection in a clean and not super autistic way then no one is going to think badly of you for it outside of maybe you spend too much money on plastic. Of course if you dress and act like a sperg and live in a disgusting pig stye people are going to negatively judge you, but if you are actually a somewhat rationally minded individual than it's not even a big deal to keep yourself and your home clean. I've had numerous people see my collection, which is literally like the OP, my home office full of toys, a gaming computer, a 3D printer, a toy photogrophy booth with diorama. The whole shabang. I've had all sorts of people compliment my collection, from my friends, girls I've brought home, to random delivery people who had to install shit inside my home. Because I keep all my nerd stuff tidy and regulated to one room, it's more presentable, and comes off less pathetic and more eccentric.
It also helps that I don't have a bunch of anime coomer figures and have a pretty bland, normie tier collection of various IPs. Marvel, DC, Power Rangers, Star Wars, TMNT, Transformers, that kind of thing. Nothing is more off putting to literally anyone other than coomers than a bunch of anime lolis dressed in revealing outfits placed around your domicile.
