I had planned to pass on him as I don't really care too much about Dwarves. But all that gear was literally too much to pass up. I can have him carrying a decent load out of weapons and still gear up like two other figures on top of it. The dude's basically packed with a bonus accessory set for the whole line.

Hot damn, that is a really nice set. Everything about it just looks fantastic, from the awesome boxes to metal case to the VHS aesthetic, even the little pin is nice. Honestly the worst part about this whole set...is the figure.

I'm not one of those "Neca hater" types, but I wasn't happy at all with their first swing at the Gargoyles. Too much strained definition and odd detail choices, and Goliath just has some of the worst articulation killing sculpting choices. I'm hoping NECA milks this line into the ground like all the other IPs they own, because a toon, or even original toy, accurate run of these guys would probably be fantastic. If they can pump out a billion ninja turtles, a new run of the Gargoyles shouldn't be too out of the question.

Lexington should be out soon.
For non-gargoyle characters, we've got Steel Clan Robot, Xanatos, Angela, and Armored Xanatos.
There are also two ugly repaints of Goliath, the video game one and the cell shaded one here >>10630011
The only future shit I can remember is Detective Broadway in his trenchcoat with the caped wings because NECA like to double dip, and a Goliath/Demona 2 pack that had new faces. I can't remember seeing anything else, but I think there was a rumor about Macbeth a while back.

also they realllly put the hinge in the wrong spot on the wings, the 'flap' joint should have stayed in 'flap' mode regardless of how you raise or lower them, instead if you raise the wings up, they now.. lean back, tilt back at the joint, instead of rotating more to the rear

Just got the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and while I love him, I'm not sure why NECA made him so tall. I mean, canonically, he's supposed to be 6'5'', but he shouldn't be taller than Frankenstein's Monster, who is supposed to be eight feet tall

Anon whose Creature areived crushed by UPS. I managed to pry him out of the damaged plastic without further injury and tried my hand at repainting his mouth and chest. Dry brushing a bit of copper on the chest and chin pretty much solved that issue, but it took a lot of trial and error on getting the mouth color close to matching the other two heads. Still, with Ebay refunding me and telling me to keep him, it could be worse.

Just picked up Steel Clan from my Target and am really impressed with it. Goliath is my least favorite Gargoyle (from the show), but he definitely makes for a good design for killer robots.

I didn't buy one, but I did pop one open to take a look. They really nailed the look and he comes with pretty much every accessory you could want for Harry Warden. I hope to pick one up next payday if they still have any. The only other new thing I saw in the "collector's" section were some 1/6 Five Nights At Freddy's figures.

Saw the Geek Out figures at Target today! I may end up getting that black and white Gill Man, that looked great.

Decided to get the Miner though, cause when are you ever going to have a miner figure on your shelf otherwise?

THIS, is a very, very interesting figure, and I'm sure some people will complain about it. Harry here is mostly the Michael Myers 2018 torso, upper arms, upper thighs (and old hip joint system, boo), with new head, jumpsuit overlay, forearms, and calves attached. I can't really fault them for the reuse because this is going to be a pretty obscure character to have on the shelf; I imagine they didn't want to drop too much dough in making it, but it all looks great, so eh? Just thought it was interesting.

Shaman is probably my favorite. I love the poncho and skull mask, it's brilliant looking. I would put him at number 1 if not pretty high up on the list. Snake turned out really cool as well, and Lost/Borg is very unique looking with that armor. He's really good, especially if you get the re-release with the face printing.

Lost is still probably my favorite. I think that one was flawless out of the Lost Tribe ultimate figures. Elder was the one I was looking forward to most, but his coloration isn't what I was hoping for. The v2.0 back in wave 12 of the old blister carded figures was better looking to me, color-wise. That one was a dull grey-ish blue, where as this one is more of a dull grey-ish purple, which doesn't look quite right to me.

I STILL have yet to even find Snake and Boar. Stalker, Scout and Guardian are maybe the more boring ones of the Lost Tribe figures, but Stalker they gave a lot of extra armor and stuff which makes him look better, since the old version is practically a stripped-down Predator body. Plus, he's one of the ones where they kept the nice coloration of the older version, where many of the newer ones are a bit more dull looking color-wise.

So, I would probably say Lost and Elder are my favorites, followed by maybe Warrior and Shaman, then the rest after that. None of them are bad though. The others just don't really stand out quite as much from a design standpoint.

Thanks for your inputs bros, I really appreciate it. After doing some research I think I made my decision. Gonna start with Shaman and Warrior. The mask and poncho on Shaman are intimidating as hell, very unique for a predator. Warrior because I'm loving his weaponry, the mace like club and giant axe are both badass, plus his blue tinted skin is eye catching. If I love these two, then I might pick up Elder and Snake. Loving the elders LED mask, and Snakes skin pattern and ring weapons.

I got my human Xanatos today. he's lookin good, and he even has toe bends!
I wish they had sculpted the shoulders slightly higher though. I realize it's hard to just pick one position since the raising and lowering of shoulders is so important for gesture, a compromise might help I dunno. maybe we just need to figure out how to get trapezius hinges to work.
He looks.. weirdly cool with Demona's cape-wings.
The Eye of Odin is missing its jewel though. That's a slight bummer but it's not like I was going to use the 'dangling straps' version of it as a prop, it's the wearable one (presumably included with Fox) that matters. Plus I can probably replace it with something.
They cheaped out pretty hard on the hands, he can't easily hold the gun and the disk at the same time. Not that I guess he really needs to.
