Us Supermanfags barely even get decent versions of the iconic costume. For the last ten years we've been forcefed reboots and movies that actively hate the iconic costume. WB has told us shorts on the outside are faggy, that someone keeps telling them everyone thinks they're silly and we should think they're silly, too. And if you think the character should represent hope and optimism then fuck you, watch him snap someone's neck in the first movie, get fucking impaled by a troll in the second movie, then come back as a mindless killing machine in the big Justice League movie.
Companies who make Superman toys always have to either make the newest abomination Jim Lee or whoever the fuck has shit out, or operates under the presumption people already have a million versions of the iconic Superman so they fuck around with alt designs.
Definitive, iconic versions of the character are rare and only getting rarer as DC and WB seem increasingly determined to destroy the character and what he represents. People like me hate that shit so we jump on anything that even remotely resembles the Superman we love.
