Yo, is there still anyone around these parts that likes Ben 10 toys?
I've been doing a rewatch of all the series and got reminded of how much I loved the designs of all the aliens in the show and how cool the toys were, so I've been hunting around my area for some. Have managed to snag some stuff here and there.
Anyone here still have a collection of Ben 10 toys they've held onto? Any favorites in particular? What do you guys think was the best toyline? Hopes for the future?

Ben 10 is cursed for toys. When they had great designs, the toys came from a bad company. Then Playmates steals it because they're better at making toys, but it's for the Reboot

Hey, nice collection! And yeah, Bandai's stuff had character but really lacked in the articulation department. The reboot stuff from Playmates WAS really good despite not having the greatest designs to begin with. Makes me wish they had made a line separate from the reboot stuff focusing on past series' designs, but alas.
As a side note, I really like the McDonalds stuff that was put out. I've always been a sucker for translucent plastic on figures and these ones look rad and remind me of rock candy. Probably could've done without the little Ben insert in each of them, but I digress.

Original series i5 kind of makes sense became toys from mid 2000s across the board were just kind of lame (especially action figures) though yeah I have no idea why alien forc-omniverse toys are so lame

since the last ben 10 thread ive managed to built up my collection considerably. though I ended up with alot of doubles in the process and some of the singles I have arent in the best shape. Fixing and cleaning them up wouldnt be such a hassle if their dial decos werent ruined or worn off. Im still unsure of how to best remedy that issue.

Growing up, my favorite Ben Ten toy was an Omnitrix you could wear and had paper discs you could slot in. My second favorite was this large Heatwave toy that was posable and had a flashlight thing in his neck.

you'd think so, especially with how red hot the franchise was between 06' and 2010. My best bet these days is to order a sheet of knock off stickers from aliexpress and hope I get lucky. I've also thought about drawing my own dials and sticking them on with scotch tape but that would probably come out terribly

Interestingly enough, no. They're screwless and despite being hollow in their chests they don't feel particularly cheap at all. The torsos seem to be two separate halves snapped together shut with the limbs and heads being more hefty solid plastic (save for Armodrillo's arms) with pegs on the insides keeping the inserts in place from moving around. In order to open these you'd have to break them apart and ruin them. Despite that I think they're really good. Almost seem like they'd fit right in as some Bandai variant figures if they'd have some more articulation. Certainly leagues ahead of whatever passes for kids meal toys these days.
