>>10660377You're welcome! I actually have those pieces, and I was trying to use them to make an arm like that myself earlier in the day as I attempted to rebuild/restore an old MOC I had.
Unfortunately, those arms didn't really fit onto the body I'd made, but I still think it looks pretty nice as it is, so I'm happy it'll work out for you.
>>10661087I used to appreciate Greg a lot more when I was younger; while I don't dislike him now I definitely don't have the rose tinted glassed I used to when it comes to critiquing what he's done. His Q&A's especially were often dumb, and I still don't care for the Brotherhood.
Also apparently a few years back some guy tried to ask Greg to "canonize" the Wolfrat as the Shallows Cat despite that thing being a coastal feline that drags things into water to kill them while the Wolfrat is a canine-rodent hunter that lives in mountains and caves (basically the exact opposite) and wanted the original's ideas retconned out and I am unironically grateful that Greg completely ignored the guy's question.
It does kind of make me wonder what they'd planned it's name and habits to be though, since Kopaka's the only guy in the PC Game who doesn't fight one of the big Rahi Sets as a Boss and the file names for all the Rahi are just vague descriptions, like "big scorpion" for Nui-Jaga or "dragonfly/mosquito" for the green/orange Nui-Rama respectively. Since the Muaka was in concept art for Pohatu's level it's unlikely to have been an early version for it.
Considering the combiner of Muaka and Kane-Ra is identified as a giant rat, maybe they were supposed to be called Kuma and the Kuma-Nui was created both as a larger variant and/or a nod to it? Kind of like how the Bahrag Queens combine to make the giant spider, since they were originally going to be spiders.
