I will shill the fortnite line until its universally praised. I don't even play fortnite. The fact is, Hasbro went all out on this line. I bought sludge for full price and immediately bought a second.

It's obvious. When starting a brand new line, its infinitely easier, cheaper, and more efficient to go all in with the nicest sculpts with the most updated articulation. They don't have to worry about making parts compatible with the massive roster of parts that Marvel Legends constantly pulls from and many figures share.

Never said Legends was good. Just pointed out why long running lines that rely on part re-use don't get the newest. nicest bodies like the entire Fortnite line

It costs a lot of money to keep around old tools and fix them. Lego throws theirs out only like 3 years for unique parts. It literally costs more money to keep random old parts around than to sculpt new ones. Everyone knows buckycap was falling apart in its final years, and the pizza Spidey lost an entire ab crunch notch (somehow).

Even newer marvel sculpts like the shriek body lack an ab crunch. You would think Hasbro would go all out on molds that will be used for 6+ years but Hasbro refuses. Its only one extra joint so it can't cost that much.

PART RE-USE. If they make new molds have different styles of articulation like the rocker abdomens, reverse ab crunch, etc, then they severely limit the part re-use potential with all their other molds. They want to limit the amount of new tooling spend as much as possible, and making new bodies incompatible with so many older parts doesn't help that.

He's one of the only clear figures in recent years, that have a reason to be clear.

Pic related is a cash grab to reuse iron man parts. Rippley is using clear parts with opaque parts to create contrast.

WRONG. This guy is one of the worst figures in Hasbro's Fortnite line, you see his belt? Yeah, those pouches get in the way of him kicking out, and even worse they chew at the plastic. The thighs also have some heavy ass rachets so it feels like his godamn ball joints are about to break. Overall a dissapointing figure, especially after all the hype it recieved on here.
