>>10664941I don't think anything has so much changed as it's all just public. Representation also wasn't talked about as often. Look at 80s cartoons and media for example, there were often competent women and black men featured, it's just that now there's a need for anyone on social media to shout out their glee at such a thing, as if it was new. Then of course there's the fact that certain other races are very rarely featured, even today, aside from women and black people. But that artificial bias of inclusion now includes literally a % that shows must follow, no matter the setting, which is what causes black people to show up in the 1500s as queens, or in a palace court, etc.
But anyways, just don't go on social media. Buy toys and enjoy them.
