>>10684948Yeah, I don't hate Shartimus like most people do either, but the man has literally got 0 business sense. Everything about the last campaign and this one is planned and executed so badly. To start with, the name of the line, "Street Humans", is probably the worst possible toy line name anyone would ever come up with. The concept is stupid, and nobody ever cared about the alien heads and backstory, so that should have been dropped and he should have just focused more on giving more variety or accessories with the street thug figures which is obviously what everyone is planning to use these figures for.
The design of the figures, some of the joint design, the scale, and the campaign/stretch goal set up is also not done well. Even some of the pics he has on there show the painted protos with horribly scraped and scratched up paint jobs. Like why the fuck do you use images that show the figures in a bad light? Re-paint or edit the pics so those paint scrapes aren't visible. But it's clear the guy also has no artistic ability and is outsourcing everything from sculpting, 3D printing, painting, comic art/animation, and photo editing to other people so it's just something he wasn't capable of fixing.
At the end of the day, all Shartimus has done is be the idea guy for this line. Everything else was outsourced to others. And all these bad decisions stem back to his planning, ideas, and all that. It sucks to say but this whole concept of 'generic army builder thugs' would be 100% better if done by anyone else/any other small company and without all of Shartimus' bad ideas and decisions. Not even gonna touch on the ridiculous $120K funding goal for only two figures that share the same body because that's just the stupidest fucking planning from the start. There is no way this was ever going the be successful with that high of a funding goal for just two figures.
