>>10676065It's not really supposed to be a meme. The whole point of that line is to recreate early concept items from behind the scenes of Star Wars. It's not about being a nobody background character. The appeal is supposed to be geared towards knowledgeable Star Wars fans who want to have a piece of the history behind the franchise.
That being said, it's still stupid and way overpriced. The idea of a product being marketed entirely using it's historical significance, but still being no more than a replica with no actual significance of its own just feels absurd. They're ugly half-finished sculptures of literal who background aliens. If I'm going to spend several thousand dollars displaying a collection with little to no aesthetic value, I'd want to have some sort of ACTUAL historical significance rather than just pretending.
