First question: This relates to the earliest wave of Tobot; does anyone have stuff like the 2010 Tobots X and Y and Titan, as well as the original Tobot Z and Shield-On Tritan? Has anyone tried cross-compatibility with the guns due to their fist shapes (as in, the old toy for X should have a gun that Titan wields, while Z's Spider Gun, which can fire small rubber bands you could supply yourself, is included with Shield-On Tritan)? In every video I saw, nobody tried cross compatibility, so I'm asking here.

By the way, while anyone is answering this question in >>10676545, I have another question: I noticed many people just felt like getting the Shield-On Tobot W because it's the show-accurate version compared to the original blue and orange color that would be taken by Mach W. Does anyone think the original colors got phased out by the time the show-accurate version came out?

I only own this guy because I love the design, saw it posted here a while ago and had to buy it. Classic car and robot knight? Yes please.

I also like how well everything fits together, the ratchets just want to stop exactly where they should when going to car mode, it's like they want to help you. Solid plastic and the paint job is fantastic too, super clean even to the thinnest gold line. Transformers may be more complex and articulated, but this toy just feels great. And it also reminds me of Brave so that's always something very good in my book.

That's a shame. I mean, articulation and overall engineering seems to have been improved on those, but they don't look as interesting.

They are pretty pricey for kids toys even by Korean standards. I was pretty surprised when I came across them when I was there. So it only makes sense that their import prices are crazy.

If you want SAMG stuff early, you can buy them through Gmarket but they are not cheap. They usually do a run in China 1 year later which costs significantly cheaper to buy and ship. Those are the ones you find on aliexpress but they are mixed in with KOs.

Oh cool thanks for the tip, It looks like aliexpress has the chibi robot combiner for a decent price. Any seller recommendations that don't sell KOs?

I don't use Aliexpress, but the KOs of Korean toy lines still do that trick of removing all the trademark logos from packaging and stock pics, so you should look out for those first.

Pic, JumpGo is SAMG's Chinese agent so you should look out for this logo (if they are using the same agent for Metal Cardbot). Young Toys uses the same Young Toys logo over there I think.

It's not a guarantee since ali is a gray area for Chinese companies and they don't enforce their IPs there.

I bought it on eBay more than a year ago. Don't know how easy it is to find it now, try searching for tobot classic or tobot paragon, those are the Korean and English names.
