I haven't played the game, but I like City, and those sets create mini town on their own, quite nice and colorful looking. I may buy entire line and add backs to the buildings.

Do you think Lego will ever release shorter torsos? They have I believe 4 sizes of legs so far, and they have longer arms. They had the old woman in Dreamzzz with a new body type too. There would be problems with the leg pins colliding with the arm joints, but that could be fixed by changing to a different type of arm or using shorter leg pins.

I just hope it fits on regular tracks, can be easily motorized, and is $300 or less. This set was not only big, but also loaded. It was as if there were three separate buildings. Every single room was filled with computers, screens, accessories, coffee makers and etc. There were nice details on the outside, too. For example, there were four different radar dish and antenna setups on the roof of these buildings. On the contrary to the building design, vehicles were nothing special. The SUV and the car was simply boring and the motorcycle was standard by now. Not even the suspensions on the SUV could save it. But the helicopter was as beautiful as it was functional. I’m sure I could find a way to change that camera into a missile if I had this set. Take that outlaw Joe!

If these houses were just a couple of studs wider and about double the depth, they would be perfect. And the sets wouldn't even cost that much more if they left the side walls at their current length and just included a few extra bricks to lengthen the front wall and one more base block for the extended floor.

I have some somewhat valuable lego stuff I wouldn't mind selling but there's no way I could be assed to deal with the headache of selling things here and there separately.
Would people buy a package deal of unrelated valuable things that's relatively cheaper than the value of each thing individually? Can't imagine someone actually happening to want exactly the classic Jabba the hutt, the Knights Kingdom II raised baseplate, the Nesquik bunny, etc(an example of some of the things I wanna sell) but maybe it would be appealing for sellers who could resell things individually at higher prices?

I just wanna make it a one time deal and get it over with.

Why not just make a bricklink store and sell it there? Unless you're in a pinch for money, it's not much work to sell on bricklink, you don't even need pictures, just a quick description of condition, tossing something in an envelope is easy. If you price it as cheapest in your region, it'll sell quick.

Definetely someone else bought the back, used a heater gun and warmed the glue, opened the box, took the minifigs, re-sealed the package and returned it, i've seen it happen and only with minifig booster packs, i recommend opening them in front of the clerk after paying so you have evidence if anything is wrong

The Willis (sears) tower actually has mini figs about 12 floors up. It’s an 18x18 stud plan at its widest so I couldn’t really fit much in there. And it doesn’t have those modular like floors so I can’t take it apart. The minifigs are trapped in there. As for moving around the buildings. I just slide them across the carpet from my room to where the city is, also use a 2ft by 2ft piece of plywood as a base to build on. Carpet is next to impossible to actually build anything on without bending or breaking something. Also, I find some of your figs a bit ominous. The guy with the sword looks great for a body replacement but something about the mini fig head sitting on top doesn’t sit right with me even if the point is to replace the cumbersome mini fig bodies, you’re that same guy right?

just a heads up, costco seems to have a lot more lego in stock on their website including some city sets and some of the larger technic sets, which means some of those sets might be at your local costco soon or now.

seems like the stock will be changing for the holidays in the coming weeks, they are moving on from the typical stock that was already in most costcos and stocking more variety.

While I'm not into anime personally, I do find it odd how Lego has never done anything anime ever. The closest they came was Exo-Force, while it is tight it's an original theme. The closest license would probably be like Avatar the Last Airbender? But of course, that's not an anime. Many anime projects on Lego Ideas have hit 10,000 supporters too. Can't think of any specific reason besides Lego designers not being anime fans.

I've only bothered to pick up the cheapest set but I think it's pretty great. Everything looks the part, you get the gimmick which works pretty good and the two little location things are neat. Having prints instead of stickers means there's some pizazz with the sonic team logo records and the item box. Not sure I'll bother to pick up any of the others though, but the eggmech is the other one that looks decent.
