Autosage seems to kick in after 7 days from what others have been saying, so this will be the OP format from now on. And like realised last thread, most anon's don't read it anyway.

Anyway, my Legion Builders Reinforcement wave should be here on the other side of the planet next week, so it turns out that the rape price I paid for shipping must have been FedEx's fast shipping, whatever the fuck they call it. Good stuff.

I've heard 7 and 14, either way, this will be on autosage well before the new wave is revealed.

This thread moves as slow as 4H releases and announcements, so I've had to update it the last few threads we've had, especially due to Poxxus wave being shuffled back and ETAs for other waves changing. And then we still got a bunch of posts saying "wow, I didn't realise wave 2 of Cosmic was coming so soon" when it was in the OP.
So fuck it. I'll post the newest preorder info and a link to the release schedule. With this autosage bullshit, I'm not wasting my effort updating a thread that will be dead before we hit bump limit.

Also, in a completely different topic. I realized something today. Outside of two figures and a weapon pack released during the AoD Kickstarter, the 4H have only used that Scimitar weapon on a single figure, and it was a con exclusive figure at that. Am I wrong or crazy or has that very nice looking sword just not seen any use outside of Sir Girard since the AoD kickstarter?

I slept on him at first, but grabbed him on a whim during one of the subsequent sales of the AoD wave and I'm glad I got him. He's probably one of the most unique Goblins in the line, being the only one with the bare arms and leather gloves, while also having a very one of a kind face. He's probably my favorite goblin now, that grin just makes him a lot of fun to mess with.

I need to bust out the Legions again, all my old faction pics are getting woefully out of date. The one downside of having so many of em is that I actually need to take vacation time just to have time to sort em all out lol.

They said it should be by the end of the year, but if it hasn't left the factory within a week, I don't see it happening until early next year.
4-6 weeks travel time on a boat, plus time clearing customs and then moving the container/s across the country by truck. Very slim chance it happens before the end of the year.

Probably because it's thinner if I had to guess.
Also it seems like this wave got hit with a few issues, according to the domestic store I ordered some extra figures from the hologram shield attachment and the clear dome for the riot officer head that come in the box both don't fit and ones that do are being included in a baggy attached to the order (retailers are all being sent them, pushing back the retailer release date a week or so).
Also the big cyborg guy is missing a pipe in the box which is also being attached via a baggy.
So wave 2 got cursed I guess.

Just got Snakeface and Stingychick in the mail today, wasn't really expecting them so it was a nice surprise. Won't be able to open em up until later this weekend, but I'm excited. Wanna see if I can somehow swap the gauntlets/boots of the scorpion chick to Mythic armor so I can stick her with my fantasy figures.

This turned out to be a pretty solid wave.
I avoided the ogres due to the old hips, but now that I got one with the new ball joints I love the big lug. He makes me hope we get a mecha/Kaiju subline in Cosmic, cuz he's nice and hefty. Now I wanna get another one and mix him with a dragon man, and add some horse hooves on him to make a more monstrous cyclops.

I think I might just stick to one Silverhorn Sentry and have him as a unique character like I did with the Helphyre Goblin.

I know I'm going to need a bunch of the shadow Uruks. Not just to have a nice raiding party, but because they come with a full set of bare limbs.

The gold knight looks great as is. A nice little bonus is that the feather plume actually has a wash on it. The plume that came with last year's Black Knight didn't have that.

The Vampire Black Knight is also amazing. I actually really like this early bird all in drop, with the full sale later. It allows you to actually get every figure in hand, and gives you some time to plan out how many you could use.

Hopefully they include the Yakotaur in the upcoming Barbarian wave so you can just steal the hooves off of him. I'd love to see what a mix of dragonman/Cyclops/Horse would look like though.

That's what I did with my Sentry....until I split him up for parts. I'm super tempted to grab a second to use stock, but he has all the same issues I had with the original. I feel this is one All-Star figure that should've gotten a update along with some of these LBs.

I was hoping they'd reissue the Gold Knight, but having him come with the extra wash is actually fantastic as that'll help him look way better then the bland original version. But the Gold Knight is such a fantastic basic build I'm tempted to get multiple for various part swaps. I know I want to use the gold head from Green Santa on one.

And overall I really like this wave, the Gold and Vamp Knights being my stand out favorites, but all are really nice figures. That said, I still say releasing a female version of the Elf Builder would've been FAR better then reissuing the fantastic Cavern Dwarf. As awesome a figure as the Cave Dwarf is, there hasn't been many female figures released since the AoD wave, and even fewer (i.e. none) female Legion Builders. I feel a Female Elf builder would've "represented" the AoD era way better then the Dwarf, given people easy access to cheap female builds and just would've been a really nice figure overall.

But the 4H say they plan to address the lack of new 2.0 builds in the near future, so hopefully we get some really nice female builders soon.

Nice. For some reason I had forgotten this guy's build thought he was a dwarf or 2.0. Seeing him with the Attila head on was a surprise.
I just got notification that this guy, brute cyborg and Ayyylmao have hit my pile of loot. I skipped the other two and the weapons pack.

Man, this head looks so good on Cosmic stuff. I doubt it'll ever happen, but I hope it gets released at some point on a spaceman body. Or at the very least a head like it, shouldn't be hard to make a head look similar with some small changes to the details.

Didn't realize the visor could just pop into the same helmet as the legion builders. The clear shield gives a great quasi glowing effect, but I'm still not sold on t hat taser. The weapons are easily the weakest aspect of the Cosmic line imo, they're just way too generic and boring.
