The Maistos are a great deal at $17 but their quality reflects the price. When you spend $20+ on a 1/64, you usually get something that is much nicer.

Reuploaded a pic from the previous thread. I got 4 boxes baring my name in the mail on Friday, 3 of which are these cars, and one is the FPS documentary I backed.

BTW I hate the shipping prices being stacked, even if I bought these from one seller. The site should implement a system for that. Y'know, just average the shipping prices if you plan on buying from one seller instead of paying $200 for a damn box with some bubble wrap inside (i.e. Total sum of shipping prices divided by the number of items bought from seller). It'll piss off the resellers, since that's how they exploit the system.

I had a good laugh when I pulled this from the case. Hot Wheels makes these mistakes all the time, but this is a first I've seen Autoworld do this. I think I'll keep this one carded despite errors not being worth a bunch.

That Mustang looks great. Is that a Maisto model? I have yet to see that one. I got a 2014 C7 Vette in black and my original Ferrari 348 TS in yellow from back in the day still. Both Maisto.

There's always the 1969-70 Dodge Daytona's and Plymouth Road Runners, Chrysler's NASCAR homologation special that was the first stock car to break the 200mph barrier.

Same with the original 60's one. Don't know what happened during the 80's to 90's since they looked so cheap and ugly. 2000's is probably peak hotwheels. Actually realistic yet cool design and unmatched toughness.

Started collecting recently. Took a gamble on this Abrams/truck/trailer set I found used on ebay and it turned to to be 1/64 scale luckily. Looked way too detailed in the pics but I forgot how big these trucks are irl

I scratch build and do models for a lot of things in different scales so I have a very active desk. I do plan to do some diorama and accessory building but im not sure about weathering the tank and truck since its rather well painted already.

I had a hard time finding any info or similar examples. Most of this stuff isn't in this scale so it was surprising to see it listed as 1/64.

Space is a big factor for me.
I just don't have the room for a collection of 1:18 or 1:24.
10 1:64 cars take up less than a half square foot of room on my desk.

For me it's adding detail and painting racing liveries but yeah, we do that shit, just with a magnifying glass and really small paintbrushes.
