welll its gonna be difficult to surpass the riobot I guess but we´ll see, so far they´ve just shown the stupid stand , the fact the pose is not so dynamic shows that the drill is probably where you store the accessories and they came up with the retarded concept of gimmicking the whole thing as a statue if you want to use the base, for whatever reason its the only thing they´ve shown so far heh

I want to see how it works before completely making up my mind, seems bandai is going way more autistic in some parts of the transformation (the skit piece seems to go inside the thigh like the old studio half eye one, and the shoulder armor extends). But yeah, I have 0 interest in a gimmicky spinning drill that's just gonna make it even pricier, and even tho the sentinel take has a couple of tiny issues, is almost perfect.

That would make it instantly better in my eyes. I hate when Sentinel's does halfassed transformations. The helmet should also be able to be stored inside of Gurren i stead of having it as a loose piece.

I also don't mind the spinning drill thing. Seems like a fun thing to have as a display option.

That would make it instantly better in my eyes, I hate when Sentinel's does halfassed transformations for no reason. And the helmet should also be able to be stored inside of Gurren.

The skirt is one of my few issues with riobot, I get why they do it but is a little disappointing regardless, the helmet doesn't bother me as much, but I do admire commiting to that level.

It's not a rumor they're reissuing all the ones in the pic. At first they announced they would update things on pretty much all of them, they released an updated GX-46, but then they abandonned the idea for Daijuujin so I don't know if the rest will be updated or not.

Have the original release, the recolor version (still unopened after six years) and I still would buy it again if they actually PAINTED THE THING AS IT SHOULD BE.
Is it really that difficult for them to make the joints dark grey and the armor light grey? I don't even need the slightly purpleish hue on the grey armor pieces, they tried and went overboard in the recolor. Just give me something that is somewhat accurate to the show.

Yeah but then you can consider pretty much everything revealed through events cancelled because you usually don't hear about most of them for a long time. It's only motorized in that event display. You have to manually spin a wheel on one side of the base to make the drill move. Pic realted, you can see the mechanism explained and how the motor that is moving the wheel is inside that red box and not in the base. That's not going to be included, obviously.
