It just says that four mutant Slizers emerged from the ashes after half the planet was blown by the meteorite and a fight for the control of the planet started against the four original Slizers that survived.
Funnily enough Millenium started being sold in my country a while before the other three and the year 2000 catalog were available, so ythe character had zero backstory at first. Seems to me it was designed before the other three and the whole meteorite deal were stablished. It feels like it was intended as it's own thing.

The new Slizers other than Millenium are things related to the meteorite impact, and Millenium was clearly made as a cool new Slizer to capitalize on the "we reached the year 2000, it's a new millenium!" hype (even if the new millenium started a year later, but nobody cared about that back then).
