sorry to defend this controversial point, but when I do MOCs they are usually based on properties that Lego (or anybody else) hasn't done. That's one of the best parts about Lego: if there is no merch for "X" then you can make your own out of Lego

And now that we do have the fleshies, those MOCs look silly with yellow figures.

The current flesh colored figures are usually from Hero properties or very specific-outfitted people. It would be nice to have more flesh-toned "regular" torsos and legs to choose from. (recently they've gotten better at this)

Don't worry though, they simply cannot change to all-fleshies because it will force them to admit they were "wrong all along."

The value will still drop considerably. It will stay more expensive than the new one, but the reason the goats were expensive is because they were rare and the only goats Lego made, not because they have spots on the side. People will (rightfully) think "Why the fuck would I pay $100 for a goat when I could pay $5".

Is that rare? I have several boxes of that stuff at my moms house, my parents are former hippies and had me in Montessori daycare, no dolls and cars only abstract toys like blocks and clay etc.

I worked for a school district in the early 2000s. When the middle schools/high school were getting rid of their mindstorms/social studies programs I asked the super if I could put in a bid. He told me to just take them, so I immediately drove around the county and picked up ~3-5 mindstorms crates per school. Within a few hours I had a pickup bed full of lego, which I then dropped off at home and drove back to work. I still have a few of the pieces but most of it got put through the resale mill over the years. The trays were surprisingly pricy.

Is there a way to prevent stress marks on minifigure heads when assembling them? I usually get a stress mark at the lower neck part of the head for some reason and it’s always on the portion facing the front. Depends on your goal. Are you trying to get rid of everything quickly, or are you trying to extract the maximum value? If you just want to get rid of it for a reasonable price post it as a complete lot on FB marketplace. Let people offer and take the most reasonable one within a few days. Any longer and you're balancing however much more you think you'd make against having to keep that shit in your house and messaging with people about it. Just keep in mind you're gonna get people like me who'll offer offensively low for the small chance you don't know or don't care. Just ignore them or counter.

Extracting maximum value is a little harder. Lots of people have bricklink stores they only keep open while they're offloading, but it's a part time job as short as it lasts, and you're very unlikely to sell every piece. Per pound is a hustle and depends on targeting the mom/grandma demographic, since all actual Lego people already know per pound is full of scams. If you price it fairly enough it's probably your best shot at getting rid of everything.

I was skeptical but the new boxes completely solve the gacha problem. The ones I see are always torn open and the sealed ones pop open with a quick squeeze. I have gotten so many dogs and owls without having to buy any of the extra minifig parts. It was really generous of Lego to do that. Can't wait for goat season.

It's mostly about minifigures. They are crap, Mage has no prints at all, and the dragon knight has no unique shield and helmet, has mismatched armor looking out of place, and hes genderswapped (easy fix on this one).

Build itself looks like chaotic trash pile of bricks. Only redeeming thing is an unique print on the knight's torso. But his coloration is very similar to the one from the Lion Knights' Castle set, making it stand out less anyways. I have waited for this GWP for a long time, I'm disappointed. Winter/X-mass GWP also looks like shit, so since I'm a castle fag, I will get this one, but I'm not happy about it.

I was initially disappointed by the Majisto being unprinted, and Forest Hideout last year set my expectations a bit high, but the set is fine for what it is.

I watched this 2 days ago in my local cinema. When the final scene came to an end and the credits started rolling , we all sat in silence.
