I Solved The Toy Industry

No.10714139 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
I think tamashii nations is in the exact position to permanently fix the toy industry forever. Any companies that use this model will be instantly successful. Tamashii is fearful to lean fully into it.

Problems
>domestic
Collectors don't want to pay above 30$ for any figure.
>import
Collectors want high quality figures. They want them to have smooth (non ratcheted) joints (ideally diecast), faithful sculpts, and a lot of articulation.

Tamashiis 35$ releases solved all of these problems. The only issue is the 35$ price. Tamashii needs to drop that price by 5$, and expand their line.

I cannot stress how much having import figures in stores help brands. You get a lot of random people into figures because of it. The collector toys are in the technology section for a reason. They attract males aged 18-35 who have disposable income. This is the perfect starting place to make collectors.

>but doesn't neca do this?
The worst thing about neca is breakages. If your first figure breaks, you likely wont be interested anymore.
There's also the limited articulation. Neca are closer to statues, than import figures.

Thank you for reading the shitpost, who Hasbro told to never contact them with ideas again.
