I don't think he really even hacked the site, he just got hold of some old passwords that didn't get changed after the last breach, and tried to bluff his way into a payoff. I'm sure that worked really well for him.
Snagged this pic off Reddit, they censored the personal info, but I'm sure it's the same silly muppet.

Plus side of all this, it's keeping me from dumping more money on Nexo Knight and Ninjago bad guys to add to my Demonic Horde.

It's not just that guy tho. People have been gaining access to stores and buyer accounts through a breach and heavily discounting the items listed, leaving fake positive reviews to bump the stores artificially, then when people are tricked into "buying" from the seller, the scammers made the method of payment bank transfer. So they get off with the buyer's money. It's all explained here.
